If every conservative joined the military as libs think they should....?

Question

for their belief that it is keeping our country safe, where would all the tax revenue come from to support the troops and all of their little entittlement socialist programs?

I ask this because libs believe YOU MUST fight in the war if you back our troops and our reasons for being there. Right now the military is all volunteer, there has not been a call for the draft so obviously the military believes there is plenty coming in from the recruitment pools.

I know there are plenty of liberals as well as conservatives that believe we should secure our borders. I am not sure I saw every liberal or conservative pick up and go down to the border to stand gaurd. Does this mean you really can't support it? or should I yell at you and call you a coward for not going down to Texas or Arizona or California or New Mexico to stand gaurd?

LOL...I have been watching your posts all evening...I think this is the best one...I am currently being harassed by someone who tells me the same thing, over and over through email...I told him that I had family over there fighting that represented me there and I was doing my best to represent them here, I explained that I was not eligible to join the military. He then began accusing me of taking credit for what the soldiers were doing because I said my family represented me there...it's gotten so out of hand that I keep telling him to stop emailing me but he sends one calling me names about every 5 min or so... I know this guy does not represent the majority of the libs...several have told me so , but it doesn't make it any less annoying when it happens...

What I wonder is what percentage of those who say that everyone that supports the war should immediately go sign up have ever been in uniform themselves. I have even gotten emails from some who want to try to tell me because I don't think America should run and hide that I need to go sign up. Fact is I've actually served at one point in my life,whereas the vast majority of those out there spouting this crap have not. At the moment due to injuries I have had I cannot serve so the point is moot. However I would love it if any of these little worms would like to tell me I'm a coward to my face,but they won't do that. They just need the whole chickenhawk argument to further support their hatred for America.

Great question!
In addition to being a raging conservative, I'm former Navy enlisted--hubby and I both joined right before the start of 1st Gulf War. I got out in '97, and he's still active duty Navy, currently serving "boots on the ground" in Iraq. We have loads of friends over there now and fully support the war on terrorism.
And just to answer the inevitable questions of naysayers... YES, al Qaeda IS in Iraq. NO I don't think Iraq is responsible for 9/11, but it was a state providing funding, training, and safe havens for terrorism. So YES, Iraq should be a major part of the war on terror!
So what ARE the libs doing other than whining and cozying up to the terrorists?

I still believe Bush should instigate a draft that draws only from our 'pro-troops/anti-war' population.

Great Question!! I am truly sick of the liberals asking this question. I am sick of them asking everyone for their rank. Who the hell do they think they are?

Using their mentality (scary, I know) they should be in Iraq right now consoling the terrorists. They do it enough here so wouldn't it be more proactive to go to Iraq and do it?

after vietnam so many libs said they protested mainly because of the draft....yet we have an all volunteer military todya and they still wont let our military do their job. they think they are being "pro-american" by mocking our president and burning the american flag. liberalism messes up the brain worse than mad cow disease
