yeap!
sometimes i feel so lazy to brush my teeth but i have to do it coz at night time (especially when we sleep) saliva production in our mouth is decreasing, saliva is very important to neutralize acid in our mouth (to prevent caries/cavity). soo... if i dont brush my teeth at night, there's 80% probability of having caries/cavity in my teeth

Yes. Especially since I have braces, I need to keep my teeth extra-clean. Once in the morning, once before bed at the very least.

I do, but I am not consistent with it. If my teeth feel gritty I will do it for sure but sometimes I forget.

I want to get into the habit of it as it is a good way to fight peridontal disease, I think I just need to hang a sign on my bedroom door for a few weeks until I get into the habit!

I did find a good online self-assessment you can try to check your gum health. I tried it and mine were fine (thank goodness!), http://www.jigsawhealth.com/articles/periodontal-disease-symptoms.html. You should try it and see, its fun.

I missed a couple times. There are times I either pass out or just get too tired. Yes, I sound like a kid - i do need a push sometimes. My gums are very sensitive, so its probably not one of my best hobbies you could say.

Yes. Even when I am dead tired after a long day. I say to myself that it's better to spend a few minutes in my bathroom than more time later on at dentist chair. Plus, I have a tough time trying to fall asleep if I don't. =)

8 hours is a looooong uninterrupted amount of time for germs to grow in your mouth.

That is why it behooves you to knock down the amount of germs in your mouth before you go to bed by thoroughly brushing and flossing. The less germs you have in your mouth to start with, the less they will grow while you sleep.

And if there are less germs in your mouth, you are less likely to get cavities or gum disease.

Yes! Rather miss my morning brush than the one at night.
Remember to floss as well :)

Yes, sometimes I'm so tired I don't want to but then I think about all the bacteria I'll be allowing to grow!
