The disposal how been working. This is a weekend place. I always turn on water first then flip switch before putting anything in it. When I flipped on the switch it hummed for a second or so & then nothing twice in a row; so I didn't put anything in it. I checked that it was plugged in under the sink & that plug-ins work properly. I also found what I think is the re-set button; it didn't help.

Can the grinding blade get froze up? Is it possible there's a wire loose in the wall switch? I need to fix this myself without curling my hair! Thanks much for all suggestions.

We might have a big fleet of fighter planes.
But in most of the air forces (of other countries) 1/3 of total fleet consists of old planes and 2/3 is new planes.Reverse it for India 1/3 is new and 2/3 is old(Mig-21's)When is the government going to be waked up.A good new generation fighter can easily take older generation fighters.

I've read the Bible. I'm hours into the Koran. So far they are the exact same stories; Adam/Garden of Eden, and Moses and the mountain. Slightly different points of view, but basically the same.

I'm curious how reading two (or more) Holy books changes your perspective.

I was talking to some people I know who are hardcore fundamentalist Christians, the started quoting scripture and I quoted right back, they seemed so surprised. I said "I have read the entire bible quite a few times haven't you?", the said no and seemed a bit disturbed.

(and yes I was a baptized Christian up until the age of 18, I have been taught and understand the Bible)

I babysit 3 girls (1,3 & 5 yrs old) and was thinking of different activities to do. I remember when I was younger I did my 'handprint' in some "cement" and gave it to my Mom, however I know it wasn't "real" cement, it was some sort of paste..possible homemade..and it looked/dried like cement. Does anyone know how to make this or where I can get it..? And what is it called...?

Thank you! :o)
~Sarah

PS any other ideas for activies would be greatly appreciated, I have a summer of FUN to look forward to with these cute little girls!! :o)

'(Remember) when God will say (on the Day of Resurrection). "O 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary)! Remember My Favour to you and to your mother when I supported you with RuhulQudus [Jibrael (Gabriel)] so that you spoke to the people in the cradle and in maturity; and when I taught you writing, AlHikmah (the power of understanding), the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel); and when you made out of the clay, as it were, the figure of a bird, by My Permission, and you breathed into it, and it became a bird by My Permission, and you healed those born blind, and the lepers by My Permission, and when you brought forth the dead by My Permission; and when I restrained the Children of Israel from you (when they resolved to kill you) since you came unto them with clear proofs, and the disbelievers among them said: 'This is nothing but evident magic.' Since many countries consider women to be second classed citizens. If Hillary becomes coronated as president, will America appear to be a weaker country?

Will the world think that she was passive about the Bill/Monica scandal for political reasons?

Do we really care about what the world thinks?

My wife and I eloped because even though I was 22 at the time, my mother didn't give me permission to date or see girls. I fell in love and married anyway because I didn't want to spend life as a momma's boy. Anyway, my wife and I are atheists but my parents are devout Catholics. According to the church, our marriage is not valid without their stamp of approval. I could care less but my dad thinks we live in sin and I'd like to please him. Is there a way for us to validate our marriage in the church without having to take classes or having a wedding (something neither my wife or I like).
