Since many countries consider women to be second classed citizens. If Hillary becomes coronated as president, will America appear to be a weaker country?

Will the world think that she was passive about the Bill/Monica scandal for political reasons?

Do we really care about what the world thinks?

yes, i believe that we will appear to be a weaker country, she hasn't really done much of anything to prove herself to be a GREAT 'leader' and her husband is to show for that! But anyways, if she were to be our president, i see many bad things to come and YES we should care what the world thinks!! thats a stupid question! If we didn't care then we would be getting bombed left and right...lets just hope we get a good leader in our office in 2008!!

Hillary cares about what the world thinks, that is why she is perfect for the job. The world has a very high regard for the Clinton's, Hillary would not be regarded as a second class citizen. As far as the "scandal" who cares about a small insignificant indiscretion.

No, I don't think we'll present that image. Consider Margaret Thatcher, nicknamed "Iron Lady". Consider Indira Gandhi, Catherine the Great, Elizabeth I. There have been many strong women leaders throughout history.

As far as Bill and Monica are concerned, how many women have forgiven straying husbands, and vice versa?

We should care what the rest of the world thinks to the degree that we care what our neighbors think of us. We want to be considered good neighbors, but what goes on in our personal lives is our personal business. How we run our household, how we manage our finances, etc., is our business.

No on both points. First, if I were a foreign leader and heard Hillary was coming for a visit, I would get the boxing gloves out. Second, Hey look at our image now, do we really give a crap about what others think.

It is reasonable to think that some people in the world will have mixed opinions if Hilary is elected but im sure if they underestimate her it will be at their peril ~~

The World will see us as a weaker Country, but not because she's a woman. Because of her and slick Willie's opinion of the military and their wiliness to sell this Country's top secret technology to the Chinese during their reign as our so called leaders.
