WASHINGTON, Feb. 8 (UPI) -- A 24-year-old controversial presidential appointee at NASA has resigned his post amid accusations he lied on his resume about graduating from college.

George Deutsch, who told NASA public affairs workers to limit reporters' access to a top climate scientist and ordered the word "theory" be inserted on every mention of the Big Bang, resigned Tuesday, The New York Times reported Wednesday.

The resignation followed Texas A&M University's announcement that Deutsch, although once a student, had not received a degree in journalism as he claimed.

Several NASA scientists and public affairs officials said they had been pressured by Deutsch and other political appointees to limit or slant discussions of topics uncomfortable to the Bush administration.

I am a member of the popular Reader's Digest magazine. And I received this parcel, that I could be a winner of Rs 2,20,00,000/-.. and there is lots of more confusing data.
To enter, I should just reply them and send a booklet (Which they call passport), and wait till 1st of feb next year. I need not do anything to enter the draw, but just mail them back the booklet they have sent. They also tell me to buy a Book priced at Rs 999/- and get a free butterfly book mark for free. I have decided not to order this book..
There is also a key bearing a number, which matches with a Toyota Innova car, printed in a phamphlet, given by them.. To enter this draw, I just need to send back the key, and the booklet and wait..
I have seen that all the seals and logos belong to Readers Digest company, and no Hoax is intended (I need not send any money, if I don't want the book, but still be eligible for the draw).. But WHAT'S HAPPENING??
Has the Reader's Digest sunk so LOW?..

we need a pathway through the mass of lake weeds because the weeds get trapped and jammed in the boats rotor ... we need a path cleared for at least 500 meters boat width , the water is 1 to 2 meters deep so theres allot of thick dense lake weeds , using a sythe and home made sharp metal sticks is too much work , we need a machine of some sort which may run off of the boats motor , any ideas welcome , and websites with info on how to do this big job ....

last year she went to the hospital because she was manic , we didnt know she was bipolar, until she was diagnosed, anyway after about 2 months in and out of the hospital... she eventually became better with meds.

but a year later, today shes manic again for these past few days, i can tell that its just getting worse....hospital or no hospital?

My son has gotten A's and B's in all of his classes except for language arts, he got an F. The school wants to hold him back this year because of one class, which I think is ridiculous, but that's not the issue here. The other day my son said the principal rounded up all the kids who were being held back and took them into the gym and lectured them about being held back. He said the principal was angry, and "yelled" at them, which my son might be exaggerating about that part, he probably didn't actually "yell." My son also said the principal told them that they were a disgrace to the school, and I don't think he would make up that part because my son doesn't use words like "disgrace." I am outraged by the prinicipal's actions. What right does he have to tell these kids that they are a disgrace to the school? I want to go up there and give them a piece of my mind (as if I have any to spare) but I don't know what to say. Do you think it was right for the principal to do this?

I'm playing in a golf tournament tomorrow and based on the conversations I've had so far I have a feeling that the four-some I'm playing in plans on drinking quite a few beers and I can already hear the peer pressure. Debating what kind of fan to purchase for my bedroom. Although the tower fan is more visually appealing, it is more expensive than the conventional stand fan. Both oscilate and come with different speeds.
