the drive side door hinges are worn out. I have the hinges but there is also a glue or a sealant around them. I need to know what that is so i can replace with new hinges. Any help or instructions would greatly help.

its just a automotive sealer they use on it to keep water from entering around the hinges, and leaking in to the door ,any good automotive sealant will work, you can buy this stuff at any parts house its basically automotive caulking is what it is,make sure you have the hinges on and working perfectly before you re-seal them up,it takes some time to get the door back in line, just take your time with it,and you,ll do alright, good luck with it,hope this helps.

It is called seam sealer, it is the same stuff that is used for truck beds, it is in a tube similar to a caulking gun.

Available at any auto paint and body supply store.

Seam sealer---parts store or auto paint store will carry it or check with a local body shop--they may sell you some in a caulk tube.
