I installed Ubuntu yesterday in a dual boot with Windows XP. When I switched on the computer, it gave me the options to boot in Ubuntu 2.6.20-15 generic, recovery mode and memtest 386.
This morning, I switched it on as usual, booted into Ubuntu and installed some updates.
Now I have two sets of Ubuntu options to boot in, 2.6.20-15 generic and 2.6.20-16 generic as well as recovery options.
I am fairly new to Ubuntu, but what does this mean?
