The best way to support our troops is to tell them. Adopt a soldier, mail a letter or card, send a box. If you see a soldier in public ~ stop them, shake their hand and tell them "THANK YOU". I hate this war, but I will always support my troops. And they are our troops. And no, you don't have to always agree with the president.

As a vet of Desert Storm, i remember something that it seems most have forgotten. Every man and woman in the service VOLUNTEERED to be there, and all took an oath to follow the orders of their superior officers. They WILLINGLY took it on themselves to step up and put themselves in a position to do what they were told, whether they liked it or not. I know for a FACT that all the protesting here at home is not helping. They need to know WE ARE BEHIND THEM and respect the decision they made to be there. All the news from home about the protests are just bringing them down. They need to be focused, not worried what Brother, Sister, Mom, and/or Dad are trying to stir up at home.
