I am thinking about buying one of these because consumer reports say they do an excellent job and 4 out of 5 people who have them think they are a great product. Should I spend the $39 bucks to get one? Do they work well ? Whats the best and worst thing about it?

I paid $35 at Target for mine. They do a pretty good job, though the big caveat with them is you need to empty it frequently.

Best thing about them- They get under the fridge and behind my heater

Worst thing- when they are full, they tend to spit dirt/debris around.

Another bad thing- If you are like me, you will want to play with it straight out of the box, as soon as you get home. You need to charge the battery for several hours!

If it just you @ home then I think it will work good and serve its purpose well, but if you have a lot of traffic and you have several people living with you, then it would not be a good product for you to purchase. I have used them in Apts, condos and small homes, I like it. I use a mop and broom for the homes with higher traffic.
