depends on how the driver finishes. The pit crew gets a percentage of the purse earned by the driver and divvy it up among themselves evenly.

A guy I used to umpire with has a son who worked as Mark Martin's rear tire changer the second half of last season.

The crews are on salary so the amount for their contract will vary with experiance,but 40's would be in the neighborhood.
