We live in a 2 bedroom back to back, the living room and kitchen are all one room, our cellar is clean and dry, so to make more space available I am thinking of making a wash room out of the cellar. Just one MAJOR problem, how can I plumb the waste pipe from the washer to the outside drainage point? The rise from the washer to the drain would be 1.8 meters. Can I just fit a check valve or would I need to purchase a macerator? The house is rented so I DONT want to spend that much money. Is there any way at all of doing this or should I just forget about it. All other plumbing and electrics are in place, its just the drainage.
