It means that sings are not always what they seem, you see something, and it is going to change into something beautiful and that will help you in your life, and it will be unexpected.

The pelican represents an bird which is like an ugly bird which can not really fly that high. The color pink represents "grace of God". But the the pelican turning into a white swan represents of course a believer who is gracefully and beautiful. White can symbolize holiness, purity, or a believer. The white swan turning into a angel with wings can symbolize a person who is like a ministering spirit or angel unto others. The wings of the angel represent his ability to move in high places in God and also the wings spread out to "cover" or "intercede" for others.

only you can interpret the dreams you have as you are the only witness, the one who feels something, and the only one who knows yourself. plus you have the added fact dreams come to you for a number of different purposes related to you and your life.
it sounds like this dream was etherial, and gave you a sense wonder... i would suggest that this dream was giving you something spiritual... where you are standing in the dream will have significance... where you far away, up close, both? if you could hear the flapping of wings, perhaps you where flying with it for a moment, in which case you where being taken somewhere and 'shown'something.
there are so many possibilities, and you may not find the answers right away, then one day you'll remember the dream, and think 'ah, now i understand'

Angels are messengers, specifically spiritual messengers whose presance is meant to convey feelings of peace, contentment, security, whatnot.

In other words, the dream could be that seeing something unexpected could be construed as a gift of heaven, which is basically a message that someone is thinking/caring about us.

I see the dream as your need for connection, and thus your mind is saying that any object that we see can suddenly be a 'gift' to us, can become a message of connection to us.

I would also say that I would keep a lookout for pink pelicans and white swans in your life. It could very well be that seeing them is meant for you to understand their presance as being 'sent' as a message of comfort to you.

And a pink pelican in the sky could be seen in any number of different places: a painting, a website, anywhere. Just for the heck of it, I did a google search and came up with this from someone's blog/website:

"In a post prompted by the recent death of Jaroslav Pelikan, a renowned Christian scholar, Michael Gilliland of Laudator Temporis Acti explains the significance of the pelican in Christian iconography. He also links to the Medieval Bestiary, a wonderful place to explore the weirdly poetic view of nature way-back-when. (That is where the image is from.) The pelican entry includes this quote by Isidore of Seville (7th century), who also happens to be the patron saint of the internet:

The pelican is an Egyption bird that lives in the solitude of the river Nile. Its is said [Isidore expresses some doubt here] that she kills her offspring and grieves for them for three days, then wounds herself and sheds her blood to revive her sons. (Book 12, 7:32): It has a Greek name (onocrotalos) from its long beak; there are two kinds, aquatic and solitary. (Etymologies, Book 12, 7:26)

And, no, I have no idea where they came up with this stuff."

Blog link is presented below, along with a link to the website where the poster got the imagery from.

It could be that you are looking for deep meaning in your life. Our subconscious often tries to tell us what we need or what is wrong and tries to resolve these issues in ways our conscious mind just doesn't get.

I think it's a good dream and maybe even a sign that everything is just fine.
