I sometimes get the joke a few seconds after it's been told.

I usually am really clued in and since you asked, I always drive between the lines. Unless I have to swerve to keep from hitting a squirrel.

I get the joke without having to be told.
That and balancing a spoon on my nose are my only truly great talents!

there are different type of lines. you should explain it. i wont like to answer about bust lines. there are lines for kerosin for gas for jobs for trains, for aeroplanes and there are lines every where. we will become mad if we discuss about lines. it is very vast and serious subject. kindly dont take it as a joke and please forgive me if i have hurt about your feelings. i am very practical man. and the persson will will die but the lines never.

Yes. It really frustrates me when I miss something simple.
But half of the time, I never get the joke at all :)
