With todays racy outfits it is really scary to think of what our girls are getting into their heads as beautiful and "sexy". I think as woman we need to be more cognescent of what we are wearing. I believe that young girls and young woman need to understand that although outward appearances mean a lot in the long run to your future husband you character and morals need to come from the inside not the out. At such young ages we need to work on schooling and what our morals are. Not just our outward appearances. I am a young teen and this is what I believe. I just wanted to know what all other moms out there think.

If you don't believe in GOD, then who wakes you up in the morning? If you think yourself (or your mom), then what about those people that are dead in the grave, if you put an alarm clock in there will they wake up because they want to? Also why are you atheist, this isn't an attack I just want to know how people think they can live without Holy Trinity (God, Jesus, and the Holy Ghost)?

I am totally irratated right now.....This guy and I have been hanging out recently. Anyways, he keeps telling me that he does not have a girlfriend. but I now know for a fact that he does. I am pissed that he has lied directly to my face. What should I do? Confront him and watch him lie some more? or should I not care....and just see what happens. Do guys ever dump their girlfriends for other girls? i don't want to be that girl who steals other people's boyfriends.

Hi! The question is the find the slope of the tangent line of f at P.

f(x) = x³ + x P = (2, 10)

I know that the formula is:

mtan = lim [f(x) -f(c)]/(x-c)
............x->c

But what I get (and I'm sure I'm doing something wrong) is:

lim (x³ + x - 10)/(x-2)
x->2

Did I do something wrong? Please explain how to solve this! THANK YOU SO MUCH! You have no idea how important this is!

It was a yearly routine at my Catholic school.
Every easter, we would tour the school with the cross, chanting hymns and reciting verses from the bible. It's an imitation of Jesus carrying his cross. I am wondering if this ritual is common in the USA , or is it only practiced by my middle eastern catholic school? I guess it's called "stations of the cross"?

I'm a progressive liberal so I'm a little more enlightened then your average american. I wanted to help the poor people of New Orleans who lost everything due to Bush's Hurricane. I invited several people to come stay with my in my home in New York state so they could get there lives together. My wife and daughters were upset but I told them we had to help. The men refused to look for work and they constantly spend my money on things that I don't feel are necessary, like alcohol. They stay up all night playing rap music loud with women who I suspect are prostitutes. I get very little sleep which has severly hurt my job performance and I was demoted. They have spent almost all of my savings now. Now my wife is threatening to leave me after the men sexually assualted my daughters. I don't know what to do, I can't turn these great heroes away after what happened to them, but I don't want to lose my family or home either. Please help me!

I haven't had depression since taking my thyroid medicine, but I forgot to take my prescription home over the weekend and now I've been three days' with out. I feel really, really down and I've been eating a lot. Will this get better once I get back on my thyroid medicine?
