Agree to disagree ....I have learned that it's just a waste of time and energy to continue expounding on a point of view that someone else does not agree with.

I stand my ground. It would never do for me to be on Jury duty and be the 11th juror that wouldn't change its mind. It would end up a hung jury. I wouldn't later be seen on the news saying "I wanted to vote guilty" or "I thought they were innocent". So I guess that is agreeing to disagree. Like I said at the start, if I believe something to be true, I stand my ground. Final answer

If there was a question someone asked, I would give my own answer. If I agreed with another person, I would say how I feel, in different words then them. Being a follower is great, but, being a leader is better. Live your life, your way!

That depends completely upon how deeply I understand the subject and my frame of reference.
It also depends upon the audience and who I'm talking with about it. Some people, are very engaging and open. Others, closed and narrow minded.

trying to force your view on someone who has already made up their mind, is like trying to tell someone, that if they just tried, they could, in fact, breathe under water... yah right.. it just DOESN't work
