I'd really like to find out who I was in a past life. I think it wold really help.

This is it bud, this life is your one chance! You were created from scratch - created by your parents working together with God - don't waste your time looking for a past life or waiting for another one! Make the most of the one you have!

You had none, no way you can find out about something that does not exist.
You are looking for help -for what?
For making sense out of your life -find answers for questions like: who am I, where did I come from? what should I do with my life?
From the simple logic of religion: if there is one God, the panteistic/atheistic religions are false. Then you have only 3 religions to consider: Christianity, Judaism and Islam which are monoteistic=have one God.
In these 3 religions, the only one who said he was the Son of God and the Savior of the World was Jesus. If what He says is true, the others are false.
So you can start by finding out whether what He says is , indeed ,true. You only need to pick up you New Testament to do that, ask God to show you what you need to know about Him -if He exists- and start reading with an open mind. A good place to start is the gospel of John. If you think, after reading the New Testament through that this is not true, go to the Quaran of Islam and the Old TEstament -the book of the Jew's (and Christians also, for that matter, because we believe it tells about Jesus and God) . If you find that these can't be true, go to Hinduistic=pantheistic texts or Buddhist (=atheistic) texts and so on.
If the Bible is true, it can take all your questions -and if there is a God almighty with an Only Son Jesus -they can help you and take all your critique.
But the freedom is in :you can find it out yourself!
I am a Christian and can wittness that Jesus is the Lord of my life and my destiny -but that cannot be your basis of belief , it is not about what anyone else says -find out for yourself!
ps. If you don't have a New Testament there are innumerable web pages to download it in a readable translation -you can try like blueletterbible or some such!

You will have to find someone who does Hypnosis for past life regression or take the word of a gifted psychic or Aura reader. You may have dreams that will show you.
I had a couple past life regressions done by a family doctor who left his practice to practice hypnosis. It really works. If you wish more information contact me.

There is a company that sells self-hypnosis tapes and Cd's. One of them that they sell is called Past Life Regression. The company is called Potentials Unlimited. They market their products in book stores often but they also have a website that you can buy from.
My dad used their products successfully.

a lot of meditation. There are books that can help you. But make sure to really look into which books you get so that you dont get something fake.
In truth, open your heart to everything. Try to get out of your head and into your soul. Your spirit will reveal things to you because your spirit knows all of these things (your past lives) it is just your mind that is standing in the way. So meditate and be open.

Meditation and guiding dreaming are great tools for past life discovery.
I highly suggest a read-in at a place like Barnes & Noble. It's free and you can learn a lot of fascinating things.

God is not stupid, he made you not to remember it since the memory of past will not help you to solve today's problem. (Not.. like many psychiatrist's belief)
If you were a slave, would you feel less precious about yourself?
If you were a king, would you feel more pride for who you are?
If you have wisdom not be impacted on "who I was," you'll see your past life.

Before this life, before you were born...
You were....
NONEXISTENT. You didn't exist. There was nothing, just like how there will be nothing of you after you die. The only way you live on after you die is in the memories of others.
This is like asking what kind of car your Ford was before it was made in the factory. Sorry, but before it was a Ford, it was just component materials.
