Do Spaniards have the right to defend themselves against the Latin Kings?

Question

Spain is fighting against an epidemic against Latino gangs in their major cities. The criminal Latin Kings Nations had invaded Spain with acts of brutality and crime commited agaisnt Spaniards. Hundreds of Spanish youths have banded to combat the rising violence on their streets.
Do the Spanish have a right to defend themselves? The Latino immigrants just believe it's an excuse to bash on anyone non-white in the country. Your thoughts.....

Most definitely! It's a sad state of affairs indeed. There was a similar article here in the Washington Post a few months back. This growing problem is a direct result of the domestic workers from Latin America bringing their sons, along with their thug mentality, to Spain. Unfortunately, these young Latinos are often accompanied by a thug mentality. Not being able to speak Catalan was also cited as a contributing factor to their delinquency and, as we all know, assimilation is the key to successful integration into any society.
While I'm not certain of the exact countries of origin for these troublemakers, it's a sure bet that they are not from Argentina, Chile or Uruguay. (Very European down there!)
Anyway, I do hope Spain will stay on top of the situation and not adopt a weak PC approach, such as the UK has done, with regard to it's problem immigrants. The disastrous legacy of our own (largely unenforced) immigration policies, here in the US, should also serve as a lesson learned.

Heck yeah the Spanish have the right to defend themselves against the Latino Crap Kings. We should be doing that here in the States, but atleast the Spaniards have the gut to do something about it. And Rai B, you're being extremely ignorant. Yes, there are neo-nazi gangs in Spain but they're not as rampant as you make it.
But I am glad the Spanish youth are taking it to the streets and getting rid of the third world gangs! Its not about discriminating against people who arent white, its about protecting the streets.

The Latin Kings need to be taught a lesson - that just because you share a language DOESN'T mean you should be able to infiltrate great WHITE European countries with lots of history. The native Spanish culture has NOTHING to do with machismo-filled Mestizo gangbanger "culture".

I would like to know the Latin Kings rationale, though - they definitely can't attempt the crap "it's our native land" excuse, can they?

Great job, Spanish youth - you're some of the few people defending Europe today against the hordes of foreign invaders.

Because Karasi, Spain has a pretty bad record with immigrants, especially Latino immigrants. A lot of people see it as an excuse to further discriminate against Latino immigrants in Spain.
Spainards tend to disregard a lot of non-white immigrants and has one of the highest number of people affiliated with right wing and neo-nazi organizations. Not to say that all Spaniards are like this but Spaniards are known in Latin America to be pretty racist against people who are non-white.
