Anytime we 're outside my daughter has decided it's a fun game to run away from me. She laughs when I chase her but I have no choice. I CAN NOT STAND IT! I am so afraid she is going to run into the street. I can't hardly get her to hold hands with me. She does it when we are in front of our house, in grocery store parking lots, etc. It absolutely terrifies me. She is still a little too young to try and reason with her about the dangers of running into the street. What can I do?

If Helen Keller couldn't see or hear, how could she believe in God? How could she believe that God was using her life for a purpose?
People say they don't believe in God because they can't see or hear him. How did she do it??
That little voice inside, can that be heard if someone is deaf? :)

My friend and I are thinking about doing some freelance graphic design. We won't really have a physical office or anything, just a webpage and probably use our cell phone. We haven't really thought about the payment methods either, probably check or paypal.

To do something like this, do we have to pay taxes?

We see lots of people with hip, spine, knee problems throwing of their crutches, wheel chairs and running and jumping after being healed by teleevangelists. Why didnt Mr.Pat opt for this cure instead of surgery? It would have been a great testimony for the evangelical ministry

And was curious what other Atheists thought about it?

Atheism is become more militant in recent years, do you see that as a good thing?

Why are you people SO eager to use Vista? No one I know that has used it has stuck with it. It's nothing but one giant incompatibility problem! If you want to SEE Vista, then download an overlay that makes XP look and sound like Vista. Otherwise, leave it alone for the next few years. XP is still a perfectly good operating system! If you're looking to upgrade your system, Vista is NOT the way to do it. As a matter of fact, consider it a downgrade. Unless your system is brand new, and has been built FOR Vista, you're going to have issues. But, for those persistant people who can't listen to reason, at LEAST create a backup before you go replacing your OS with Vista.
