As a Christian I find this question offensive. I recently went to a retreat where we talked about this. This country has taught people that there is religion and then 'logic'. Things do not have to be in one box or another. I love God and I read the Bible. Some times the stories in there are a little hard to believe but I have faith that Jesus is all powerful and that he did amazing things because there is a higher being out there somewhere. Faith is not the opposite of logic and people need to stop seeing it that way. It is hard for me to believe that there is nothing beyond this world, it is hard to believe that there is no God/ powerful being. With that comes having faith that he loves me and that he does cool things. Read Mark in the Bible it has some of the most unbelievable stories in it. However, look beyond the stories at the meaning of Mark.

I like logic.
Some Christians may have a problem with logic, but so do some Atheist.
Example: Glenn Rose Texas has the best set of human and dinosaur footprints (together) in rock.
Many Atheist just say that evolution says that human and dinosaurs lived many millions of years apart.
They can not explain the tracks, they just ignore the facts.
So will say that it is a dinosaur that has a human shaped foot.
But why has no one ever found that dinosaur with human feet.
Also, some of those human prints had moccasins on.
Why has not some one claim that they found a dinosaur that had a human shaped foot and new how to make moccasins?

Who said Christians don't crave logic? It is common knowledge to Bible readers that St, Paul, who wrote most of the New Testament, was a fine logistician! Wow, read his books......he could reason and think like a pro. Many Christians are deep thinkers.....we don't turn off our minds just because we walk by faith in the Lord Jesus!! In fact, the Lord HELPS us think thru things logically.......what a way to live !! God loves you and so do I !!

I do crave logic but I also crave an unconditional love that i can feel in the deepest places of my soul. That my friend can only come from a personal relationship with Jesus Christ our Lord. There is a lot of logic in the Bible to you should read it it's a very good non-fiction book.

Why don't you crave logic AND common sense.....obviously you don't read the bible and research it or you would know it's logic and common sense....but I will definitely pray for you to realize that Jesus died for you and that you believe in the Word He has given us to be true.

Why can't Atheist comprehend things that they cannot see? Why is it soo hard to comprehend that God is limitless? It's too hard for them to comprehend that what goes up does not necessarily come down. A body at rest does not tend to stay at rest, and not every action can be counted on to provoke an equal and opposite reaction. Time, too, is different. It may run in circles, flow backward, skip about from now to then. The very arrangement of molecules is fluid...all of this is too mind boggling for them. There is more to life than what is right in front of your face.

I don't actually think it is a question of logic. It is a question of what axiomatic system you begin with.
Various religious beliefs have their own axioms. They are usually easy to identify -- they are the matras that are spoken repeatedly during a service. If those axioms are accepted, conclusions logically follow.
