however this time around my wife seems so distant from me.....i know its common i see this sort of thing all the time with other families...but i can't even get her to talk to me nothing...we have been together since junior high...although im trying to think positive my heart can't help but feel that this time around deployment was too hard for her to deal with.....is there anything any of you would suggest in trying to make this work before its too late to save?

My hot water is too hot. So I looked at the heater and it has stickers on the side that say in red "disconnect power supply before removing panel to adjust temperature." Why do I have to disconnect the electric first? It's just a panel and thermostat, right? It's hard wired, not plugged in. Thanks

ok, so my labrador is ten years old. he isn't purebred, though thats how we purchased him, we were misled and believe him to be a mix of predominantly black lab, dalmation, and pitbull. back to the point, at this age should he slow down dramatically and have nearly no desire to play? In the mornings when i leave for class he always growls with me and talks back and gets very excited, but by the time im home in the early afternoon he barely gets off his bed to greet me. he won't chase a ball anymore. he won't play tug of war. he will still wrestle with me but tires quickly. i am worried. is this a normal age for this breed to, to put it bluntly, die out? my dog is one of my best friends. some help would be nice... serious answers only please. good answer gets an easy best answer

I am a 42 year-old woman. I am considering riding my bike to work each day. Ninety percent of the journey is very quiet rural blacktop that has little traffic and few cars. I am a bit afraid, because I will be pretty vulnerable by myself out there. What things can I do to help prevent myself from being assaulted by someone or hit by a car? Thanks!

I don't care about the price. I want to block porn from the kids. The internet explorer options with filtering it out isn't doing it's job, no nearly. I want to know the best program that will keep kids from seeing a boob in yahoo search, or even bad language. Absolutely no porn. Any suggestions on some software?? Also, what are some good monitoring programs, I heard of one a while back but forgot the name, it emails the parent what the kid is doing on line, logs everything the kid types, etc.

In the underarm of a few of my husbands work shirts there is a stiff white stain that I can not get out. I have tried soaking it in water (hot and cold), letting it sit in soap overnight, and different kinds of soap (everything I have in my house). Unfortnatly I can't throw away any of these shirts because they are part of his uniform. Any ideas?

my agi for 2006 was below 52k and im single in nyc. i contributed $1000k to my traditional ira. i do my own taxes. well i never got my statement at the end of the year from citibank which i have my traditional ira with. so i forgot all about it.

now when i file income tax for next year for my 2007 tax return..can i still claim my 2006 ira contribution? if so how, what forms do i need to fill out beside my 1040a form for next year tax return? thx in advance.
