I have to say the only book which claims divine inspiration on the earth, the book of books, which contains many books, which are all letters from our heavenly Father... whether we believe this or not doesn't alter the fact that it is... and once we put faith in it, just the size of the tiniest seed on earth, we begin to benefit tremendously from its knowledge, which when put into practice in our daily lives, leads straight to the wisdom from above and allows us to remove problems from our lives which previously seemed as big as mountains. It is inspired by the true God of love, wisdom, power and justice and I wouldn't mind giving up my entire library to keep just that one, for sure! Where I go, it goes! Always! I can never get enough of reading it. You know how people get addicted to drugs, etc. because it helps them cope? I can understand that 'cause my addiction is the Bible as it is the only thing on earth that has helped me cope with every single pain this life has ever thrown at me... I know for a fact that I would be here tonight if it weren't for it... As a matter of fact, I'd be six under as I would have given up the fight for what is right and ever the fight to live itself if it weren't for the blessings I derive from accepting the truths of that one and only marvelous book of truths, which is more alive than any thing else on the planet today and which gives me the necessary insight to understand anything at all, that I ask my heavenly Father in the name of Jesus, my king and his son... who died the most horrible of deaths to come here on earth to tell us what we could expect, if we put faith in him and in his Father, who has made provisions for us all to finally attain the real life in a perfectly restored paradise earth. No matter what sort of book we like to read, we will find more than any of them to satisfy us and more in that mother of all books as it were, namely "The Holy Bible". Thank you! and may the peace of the God of that Bible that excels all thought be with you and all the other people here this day who put their faith in that sacred book of holy truths! leading to everlasting life! as it has all of the necessary recipes to do just that! It's an exquisite book of absolute knowledge! and I love it more than words can say!

Yey! I love talking about books! There are *counts* 6 books really. Each of them effecting my life in totally different ways, making me see and understand things that I have never known.
First the BIBLE. Obviously. As soon as I actually started picking up and reading the thing, ( it took a while ) my life dermatically changed for the better! I started seeing and understanding the concept of love in a totally new way.
Second was Tender Warrior by Stu Weber. Its really a book directed toward guys, but it provides a deep insight into the mind of males that by themselves, females like me understand but could never put into words. It talkes about how to live like a man in a culture that does not know what manhood means.
The next two are Hinds Feet on High Places and Mountain of Spices by Hannah Hunnard. Both these books are AMAZING allegorys. They follow a character named "much afraid" up on her journey to the "high places" lead by the "Good Shepard." The "high places" are that perfect places where "perfect love castith out fear." This is totally a must read. The next book deals with Much Afraid again with her new name. A name that the Shepard gave to her. (( read it to find out )) By now, she is transfromed and learning to deal with all her relitives. (example: Her cousins Self Pity and Pride, and Bitterness, and Mrs. Gossip.") This book deals with more on how to treat people with love no matter what and how this love can lead them to Jesus! Weee! Both of these taught me life lessons that still carry on in my mind today in everyday conversations with people!
Number 4 is Safely Home by Randy Alcorn. This one was bind blowing! It follows two old College Roomates, on in China, on in America. In in are some very down to earth, foundational stuff that had me seriously doing some deep thinking for days. It is a book that by the end helps you lay down your own pride, and care more about other's around you then about yourself. But be warned, I had this sudden urge to fly to China afterward. ((and still do.))
The last book is Blue Like Jazz by Don Miller. He writes about God from a position of commitment but still is VERY honest and human. That is hard to find honestly. It is not really ABOUT any one thing in particular, many oh so many topics are noted in this book that I found myslef re-reading it just to make sure I did not miss anything important! Also a must read. It taught me a lot about being Christian and not being so selfish, so 'spiritual', so "christian-y"
Whew! Okay. So those are my must reads! Hope you get the chance to read them too! They all effected my life and I hope they will yours!
