If you knew you could save all of your gasoline receipts during the previous year and present a valid drivers license to the federal government at tax time. Wouldn''t it be nice to claim your gas consumption on your federal taxes and get decent refund for your money that you paid out in gas.

If you answered yes. Then call, write or e-mail your federal elected officials or go directly to their office and tell them you want a gasoline tax credit now. Oil companies are making big bucks. Why can't we make our bucks too ?

Rapper SNOOP DOGG is urging British authorities to reconsider their decision denying him a visa to enter the UK, because he can use his voice to help cut crime.

Why would anyone want to pretend to be this criminal?

The rapper - real name Calivin Broadus- is currently touring Europe with Sean Combs, and hopes officials change their mind in time for their gig at Wembley Arena in London
He said, "All I can do is ask the Home Office to reconsider this. I can reach the kids with my mic that politicians cannot with their voices. I can tell them to stop the violence and killings that have been happening in the UK."
Last year (06), Dogg accepted a police caution after being arrested on suspicion of violent disorder and affray at London's Heathrow Airport.

If you've ever listened to his lyrics, you know that cutting crime is not what Snoop Dogg is all about. So why would a poster in here want to be called by that name? Who in their right mind would want to emulate a criminal?

My son will be in 7th grade next year and today his English teacher called me to ask if I was interested in having him tested for the gifted program. I told her I would discuss it with him and then decide. In the past, when it was suggested to me that I should have him tested, I always ignored it. But now that he is older, I am thinking he may actually enjoy the challenge, especially because English/Language Arts is one of his favorite subjects. There are a few things that make me think twice about it. One being he was in accelerated math this past year, and he hated it. Halfway through the year, his math teacher told me that he didn't struggle with the actual math, he was just lazy and not interested. Now he says that math is one of his least favorite subjects. The other reason being that I was in the gifted program in elementary school and I lasted for one year. I burned out on it rather quickly and chose not to participate again.

And Im talking authorisation of illegal wiretaps by the FBI and NSA,? also lying to the world over 911, lying over OBL's involvement with 911, lying about WMD's, Lying about al Qaeda in Iraq, (they hated Saddam even more than Bushs old man did), legalising torture, destroying habeus corpus, and basically destroying the US constitution and everything it was designed to stop.

Thoughts on this story?

Excerpts from news story:
MINEOLA, N.Y. - A millionaire couple were arrested on federal charges that they kept two Indonesian women as slaves in their swank Long Island home for more than five years, beating and abusing them and paying them almost nothing.

The homeowners, Varsha Mahender Sabhnani, 35, and her husband, Mahender Murlidhar Sabhnani, 51, entered not guilty pleas Tuesday at their arraignment in U.S. District Court in Central Islip and were ordered held pending a Thursday bail hearing.

Prosecutors said the women had scalding water thrown on them and were forced to repeatedly climb up and down stairs and take as many as 30 showers in three hours — all as punishment for perceived misdeeds. In one case, prosecutors said, one woman was forced to eat 25 hot chili peppers at a time.

but in describing his version of Paradise he included "seductive young boys as well as houris (maidens)." I don't have the reference for it. It is also stated that a man will become pregnant and bear the expected Mahdi. Is this in the Qur'an?
