I think it's called the recession, after the kissing of the bride and the couple are on their way out of the church.

well, the typical classical ones are always popular, but I have also played arrangements of a few Beatles tunes, and even Led Zeppelin! I would pick a song that describes you and hubby, and is fun and upbeat. Do you have any favorite bands that you share?

Most reputable musicians that you will hire for ceremony music will be able to arrange just about ANYTHING for you if you give them enough time in advance. Do not feel obligated to stick to certain types of music or songs, because you really can have anything you want!!!

it is so candy!! You have been already given a great variety of great solutions!! I purely wanted to observe, whether your daughters are strolling you down, does no longer advise to have a track for them and you :) The track could be for YOU.. The bride :) yet, on the reception, you may play a track as indexed above for you and your daughters :) My suggestion for you is to maintain an instrumental version, like the elementary Canon in D. Or, do a track approximately you and your new hubby... consistent with possibility... Celine Dion's a sparkling Day Has Come or Rascal Flatt's God Bless the broken street stable success!!

That's the recessional ~ I had a couple sing "From This Moment On" as we walked up the aisle.

"From This Moment On"

(I just swear that I'll aways be there.
I'd give anything and everything and I will always care.
Through weakness and strength, happiness and sorrow,
for better or worse, I will love you with
every beat of my heart.)
From this moment life has begun
From this moment you are the one
Right beside you is where I belong
From this moment on

From this moment I have been blessed
I live only for your happiness
And for your love I'd give my last breath
From this moment on

I give my hand to you with all my heart
Can't wait to live my life with you, can't wait to start
You and I will never be apart
My dreams came true because of you

From this moment as long as I live
I will love you, I promise you this
There is nothing I wouldn't give
From this moment on

You're the reason I believe in love
And you're the answer to my prayers from up above
All we need is just the two of us
My dreams came true because of you

From this moment as long as I live
I will love you, I promise you this
There is nothing I wouldn't give
From this moment
I will love you as long as I live
From this moment on

I don't know what church you belong to but if it is a Catholic church, you will have a "list" of songs that you can choose from that they will only allow to be played in their church.

If not, talk to whoever will be playing your music--I'm sure they have some great favorites that might be right for you.

I personally like tear jerkers--true love songs -- something you'll never forget until you die-

It's a beautiful day by U2....we did it and a year later people are still saying when they hear that song they think about our wedding.

We had our DJ fast forward to right when they start getting into It's a Beautiful Day....it was awesome!

Congrats and good luck!

you can do whatever you want. just dont make it slow. i think there actually is a song that is played so you dont necessarily have to pick out one. Talk to a d.j and see what they come up with or what they have had experiences with, with other couples.

you can pick your own song or ask the pianist to pick one for you. maybe a slow romantic song like unchained melodies. You would save your couples song for your first dance at the reception.
