I accidentally clicked on a not-so-innocent link my friend sent me and when I cleared my history, it's till showing up. It tells me everything and all the cookies are deleted but it's still RIGHT THERE. How the hell do I get this off of here? This is really embarassing lol.

goto

tools -> internet options -> general -> clear history.

tools -> internet options -> general -> delete files. ( delete offline files tooo ).

tools -> internet options -> content -> clear passwords.

tools -> internet options -> content -> clear forms.

tools -> internet options -> reset the home page.

Not so Innocent friend may have sent you a bogus trick that is on your computer and can only be deleted if you know how it is set up.

Add more details to your question and see if anyone else has had the same problem.

Or cut and paste the lines of the stuff you can't delete in the Yahoo! Search or Google Search to see if it is a common problem others have found solutions for. You would be surprised how many people have reported such stuff on the Internet.

If you are running Internet Explorer 7 Click on Tools and then "Delete Browser History." That should do it.

it depends on the browser your are using and settings you have... explain what is happening more.. what browser, is it an item actually in your "history," Or are you talking about when you click on the search box on google a drop down menu shows up with a "not so innocent" search you made? ect.

not only do you clear history but also click on delete cookies and delete files, when you do delete files put a check on delete all offline content.

tools, internet options, clear history. But remember that porn sites will purposely reintroduce themselves. BEST bet is to back up data and wipe the sysem with pc restore.

You have been hijacked my friend. The only way out of this is to download a spyware removal program - Spybot Search and Destroy is good and it is free.

Go to geek squad or call them and they can clear your hard drvie or you can buy programs to delete stuff on your harddrive ;)

You've been infected by a virus. SpyBot Search & Destroy might be able to zap it for you.
