i feel..god is a "concept".. created by the wiser people of ancient communities, to 'straighten', and keep control over social taboos..!!! or to get the good things done from people..!!!
and, it depends... wether u want to call, nature... the creator of all living & nonliving beings....or to attribute it, as a creation of god..!!!!

Man created God pretty much for the same reason you said.. although if you think about it it could have also been a clever business idea as the founders of the religion would be at the top of the pyramid while the believers would be at the bottom paying for the top of the hierarchy to teach them the word of 'God'. Well that's my opinion anyway!

It's really the most confusing question ever.
Some people believe that man created God, to make themselves a better person. They made God because they were acting foolish and like devil all the time. And, hearing God's name they get scared coz they have to go to hell and heaven. And therefore acts like a good person.
On, other side people also believe that God created Man, he created this world, every single thing in the world.
I am also stuck at this. We don't know who's right and I think we could even never this answer. But good question, by the way.

the bible was written by those who said the earth is flat
bhagawad gita was written by those who said the earth is the centre of the solar system
the koran was written by those who said the rains come from the gods.
i wonder when during a period of a million years, we have reached to the top of all the species existent on the earth presently, howcome we developed such a stupid concept throughout the earth, a concept which pushes us so backward on our planet.
i fear the day when it is mathematically proved that no supreme power exists, because i know that day will face objections slapped on the might of mathematics itself by some really useless people who know nothing but to go by blind faith. how many people disbelive the arguement of hindu mythology that the first sound om originated in vacuum and nothingness becuase of the very well known physical fact that a sound cannot exist in vacuum? the people act so much stupidly on earth. i cant believe we are the supreme species.

Man RECREATES...
Everything around us is created by God, but we can use the materials around to invent stuff. Everything that exist surely has it's Creater... Just like a pencil existed because Man made them, so has Man existed because God creates them.
I never believe that Man existed coincidentally or without any reason.
But of course, I understand that every person has different opinions.

Please dont mind, but I must say that this question has no meaning, because every body in this whole world, even whole world will also created by God.
So what is the purpose of this question, you also know that no one can create God, but God can create anything, just see Nature it is only the proof of this. I hope you can understand my feelings, dont take it on mind, because I m just sharing my thoughts with you. Bye.

as there are no proofs about god being there so lets take it as man created god.now if its so then y we did so...its simply coz we need some one to take up things on our behalf.as in at times in childhood we create an imaginary frnd for ourself the same way someone just assumed god..god being the one who signifies gud.it is basically the set of right rules n as "what is right?" can never be defined so we can always leave things to this particular law.like we blam things on our governemnt.our ancesstors like this way of just leaving the unsolved as it is n created god n we being the successors just followed the same being ritual.as they say a lie told a 100 times becomes a truth n kind.wt u called miracles got some hidden science with them n if thats unsolved then bring here we are here to solve it.isn't it??

Sin was created by men. It is how the early church gained their power. You sin you go to hell, so says the leader of the church. So they used the theory of sin to create the whole satan stigma. Good and evil, right and wrong, all that can exist completely independent of the whole sin b.s. God, Goddess what ever name you want to give to creation gave us all the power and freewill we need. We just have to use it wisely. Easier said than done most of the time.
