One pipe can fill a tank in 5 hours less than another; together they fill the tank in 5 hours. How long would it take each pipe alone to fill the tank?


I had someone try to help me but the answers are not making sense to me.. on my paper it says it should be in decimal form but they got... a whole number.. please someone explain♥

I am 12 weeks along and I like to drink tea, especially ice tea because it has been so hot. I was thinking of switching to decaf tea so I could drink a lot of it. I have about the equivilant of 1 large glass of it over the course of a day( I drink a little bit at a time). I don't drink it everyday either. I would say I drink it about 3-4 times a week. Is it safe to drink this much, am I allowed more, or should I just drink decaf?

I just read what I think is a GREAT answer saying that everything we can detect in our own visible universe is contingent on SOMETHING being eternal/infinite. No matter which way we approach this, through God or science, we always come back to something had to ALWAYS contain everything else. My only contention is that God in the Bible is said to be "infinite, the alpha and the omega" (although I put no creedence in the image portrayed in the Bible, as it has been bastardized to be a man in the clouds watching everything go down). Isn't it possible that science and theists are striving to the same conclusion and arguing about it the whole way there? I'm not saying God created himself, I'm saying God (in terms of whatever this eternalness actually is) has ALWAYS been, becuase something (or someone, if you choose) has necessarily always been.

I'm a huge ATL Hawks fan (kill me). Who should we take with the #3 and #11 pick? We need a center and a point guard. I think that we should take a center first, because there is a slim chance that Mike Connely jr will be around and a very good chance that Acie Law IV will still be around for pg's at #11. As far as centers go, i was thinking about Hibbert, but he decided to stay in school. Does anyone know anything about the supposedly athletic Yi Jianlian, the 7 footer from China? Would the Hawks be justified in using the #3 pick on him? what are your thoughts?

i have a 2000 mercury grand marquis with 105,400 miles on it. I've been wanting to get the transmission fluid flushed and replaced... Should i do it? i bought the car used in two months ago, and i don't know if or when the transmission fluid was replaced. What else should I have it looked at? Will this hurt or damage my engine in any way? After i get it flused? Should I get Meineke to do it? Are they reputabile?

Ok, im 18 i have a daughter name kaydence and her father michael, michael and i are split up, i have a new boyfriend and he has a new girlfriend-which also has a kid.

My boyfriend ryan does eveything for me and kaydence she is starting to talk and shes calling him da-da. Michael which i know he loves her bit he dosent do anything for her, he is controlling and emotionally abusive. His girlfriend brittanie bought kaydence's diapers and wipes when it is michaels job to do it, he only wants kaydence when something is going on like a party or somthing, he never wants her, just to have her while she see's ryan eveyday and loves him while he loves her.
Ryan likes the fact of kaydence calling her dad.

Should I let Michael have her on Fathers day or Ryan? plz help.

I am a woman and I have known my boyfriend for almost 2 years. The other night my boyfriend told me he wants to be the one in control in terms of making sure I'm comfortable being with him. A few days ago I did a good deed by serving food at the local soup kitchen. I did not prepare the food and the cook made chili. he cooked the sauce and meat and forgot to add the beans. supper was already late so he decided to add the soaked uncooked beans to it. he claimed it was safe. I whispered a warning to the people eating and most of them picked the beans out however some ate the beans. can this cause health problems?

I just moved into a new place and when you are running the water and pull up the shower thing half the flow remains at the bath faucet and the rest goes to the shower. The pressure is low, and I imagine that is due to half the water running out of the faucet still. What can I do?
