I am a woman and I have known my boyfriend for almost 2 years. The other night my boyfriend told me he wants to be the one in control in terms of making sure I'm comfortable being with him. He wants to be friends first before we take our relationship further. I know this is an old fashioned word, but how do you allow a man to "court" you? I really don't have a lot of dating experience and I want to do everything right in this situation.

Be yourself; you don't have to be something different than what you are or you will get an ulcer. It is unusual to have somebody like that who isn't trying to get you undressed first and foremost?

While it is nice for a woman to make move once in a while I am more old fashioned as well. If he is a gentleman then allowing him to court you, I think, would be an awesome experience for you. It's new, you're not used to it, so sit back and enjoy it. This is part of the whole "holding the door open", "buying flowers", and "giving little gifts" part of dating that sounds fun. It's also the way I like to treat women. I don't think you can do anything wrong. He's courting YOU.

He's already told you how. Let him lead. Let him be the Man he was born to be.
