For selecting eleven talented cricket players selectors/BCCI need the talents. (Without bribes/without bad recommendations)

Can't really blame BCCI mate.......there should be a talent pool large enough in India to pick and choose from....just a large governing body and a bunch of dumb-*** selectors are not enough......
And there is no point comparing Indian and Australian selection processes......
1)Australian academies are light years ahead of Indian ones in developing young players and lifting them up to the big stage, and.........
2) There is too much politics in Indian cricket......There is pressure on BCCI to pick at least one player from each zone of India ......this is a barrier to pick the absolute best-of-the-best.
Thus, it is impossible for BCCI to select eleven talented cricketers as that of that of the present Aussie team.

FIRST OF ALL more than players, the BCCI ELEVEN (I mean President, Secretary, Treasurer, Selection committee and other committe Charmians - may be more than eleven) consisting of proper persons should be selected. In BCCI politics is playing big role and for which the country had paid heavily in the recent World cup. See the Bangladesh Team; our people should learn from them and other new entrants in the cup.
Unless we clean up the BCCI even in the next 10 cups India can not do anything-

yes. they can select if there is no politics is involved. Many young guys from Tamil Nadu, Hyderabad, Karnataka apart from Mumbai and Delhi are well talented than the present sqad. Companies like MRF has to come up to bring talented guys for India like Australia. They have to make the selection as such that atleast 7 alrounders ,including specialised spinners and fast bowlers for sqad 11. Really if this is followed india will be a number one team and will be more than australia. Indian selectors should not concentrate onsome specific region like west and north and should concentrate on whole of indian states to pick young guys.

For selecting talented players you need to have talent in store. India cricket is still eyeing youngsters like Kaif, Suresh Raina and Gautam gambhir. There youngsters got ample changes but they failed to grab opportunity.
Also, Indian media is also responsible for this pathetic condition of Indian cricket. They make hero out of zero after just one decent performance. Indian TV channels have all losers of their time commenting and criticizing current players.
BCCI hasnot invested in the future of India Cricket. So today when old biggies like Sachin, Saurav and Sehwag(3 Stupids on current team) fail there are not good enough talent to look upto.

who said that current cricketers are not talented? don't forget these are the same guys who in last world cup made it to the finals. They have won many series. And at that time it was you who supported them. Come on they have talent. No one without talent can survive in this industry. Otherwise I would have been playing in indian cricket team. As far as their advertising and other money making campaigns go, you would have done same thing to earn your living besides cricket, evryone has hunger for money. It is just that they are lacking confidence, which happens to evryone. Give them some time. And imagine yourself in such situation, then you'll understand the fact

Talent of the players alone will not help to change the fortune of the team India. Players should have determination, dedication, fighting spirit and urge to win to perform to their potential consistently.

there are many talented players but the need is this that the board should search for the bestest talent.... u never know... they can be even best from the present or future austrailian team
