I would think not. For the inconvenience of having to come up with a lie to prop up another lie. It is much easier to remember the truth. They say that with a liar they avert their eyes to the left when trying to come up with something. It is more difficult to think of a story than it is to recall an event. If they are telling the truth they avert to the right. So, Left=lie and Right = recall. I have tested this on my own kids and it is pretty close to 100%.

The problem with lies is, you get caught, and that is FAR more embarassing than just telling the truth, or, sometimes, just being quiet. Its always a good idea to say as little as possible, nothing is best, but if you absolutely have to lie, make it something that you can at least explain as a misunderstanding rather than admit as an outright lie. And you can always just say "I'm not going to answer that".

(first to correct your grammar!).."Is it easier telling the truth than it is to lie?"...
Sometime yes...and for some people lies come waaaaay to easy....sometimes telling someone the truth hurts..and you'd rather do anything to NOT hurt the person...but telling the truth is ALWAYS best...
And also remember this...a HALF truth is still a WHOLE lie..

well that depends. if telling a lie keeps you from prison or death then lie away. I find it is much easier to tell the truth because you can remember it better the next time you have to tell it. and of course there is that commandment Thou shall not lie!

Telling the truth is easier. Then again, I might be lying about that. How would you be able to tell?

most people would say yes, it is easier to lie, but once you start lying you have to remember your lie. so i would think that telling the truth is easier, because the truth doesn't change.

sure it's easier...but that doesn't make it right. ☺
I'm a firm believer in the truth. It may not be what you want to hear, but it will always be the truth. ♥

No because then you have to keep on lying to keep up with the lie that you told in the first place. It's a snowball effect and it sucks big time when you get caught.
