I am African American and I sometimes wish I weren't. I do everything right. I went to college and graduate school, I pay my bills, I don't bother anyone, but I still find myself a victim of racism. The racism I suffer is not always at the hands of white people either. Some African Americans treat me with disdain as well. I never did anything to anyone and I just wonder if there is anyone else out there like me.

Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid does not seem to have the ability to lead their branches of Government. A true leader works with all opinions to come up with solutions to problems that are not based on political party but what is best for our country. They said they would when they went into office. The country is still waiting.

I've been corresponding with a lady from Washington State. She has problems, mostly due to an adulterous, alchoholic husband with whom she is seperated.

I received this letter this morning. Will you help?

"What I have been asking God for is for my son......we have been without our home due to water damage....been living with friends, and it has been going on and on....paying a mortgage on a house I can not live in, no insurance....my son is hurting and I need my home...cant afford to rent another place, and too damaged to sell, all our money from years of payments are in that house.....it is getting worse and worse...it is for my son, I love my son....he needs a home...I believe I have been selfless. I don't ask for anything for myself..nothing not even love, just a home for my son....... that is what I pray for, ....I give glory to God for all the blessings I have..the health of my family, my job, my friends....that is what I ask God for...just a home for my son."

I was wondering about the following things and wanted the pro-evolution crowd to ponder and answer.
Before you insult and tell me that I do not understand anything, I DO! I used to believe in evolution, but there was ABSOLUTLY no overcoming these objections (at least not in print, that I was able to find, and I DID look).

According to the laws of thermodynamics (and other scientific theorims):
1. Matter cannot be created nor destroyed.
Q1: Where did all existant atomic material come from?
2. ALL things break down, wear out, etc... (the law of entropy)
Q2: Since chaos is the end result of everything, how can evolution account for ordered, non-random, events that created functioning eco-systems and life?
3. a body at rest tends to stay at rest unless acted upon by an OUTSIDE force
Q3: The theory that the universe is expanding from a central point and ALL atomic mass was in a central area, what was the outside force that cause the big bang?

I woke up this morning at 8.00 am and my cat (female), who is usually miaowing at the conservatory door to be let in for her breakfast was curled up sleeping on the sofa in the conservatory. I shook her food box and she did not budge, even when I put the food in her bowl, she did not move. I picked her up and put her in front of the food and she would not eat it. She looked very down and no matter how much I fussed her I could not get a purr. The second time I picked up her she just growled at me. She can be a bit grumpy though sometimes. She walked into the lounge and went to her favourite chair and curled up looking very upset indeed. I put prawns in front of her and she actually got up, turned around on the chair and put her back to the food. It is now 2.45 pm the same day and she still will not eat food or purr. I have contacted the vets and told them that I will give her 24 hours and see if she comes around but until then, does anybody have any ideas what may be wrong?
