do you punish the kid for being molested? Or is that your fault and YOUR bad parenting for leaving them with a molester in the first place?

Would you do it as a test of your child's obediance? How long would you leave the child with the molester before you realized HE IS A MOLESTER, that shouldn't be left with your kids?

How does this relate to the tale of the Christian god tossing the devil down to earth, free to roam about in the garden of Eden, and then leaving him in charge of the Earth?

I feel for some of them, but in some cases the soldier is not doing what they are supposed to do.I gained custody when my ex left the state of Texas w/ son w/o notifying me or the courts that he had been re-assigned to another base.(is this not his responsibility)Anyway,he left, I had to go thru Red Cross to find where he went, I thought he was in National Guard, turns out he had reinlisted as fulltime army w/o telling anyone.When found him, found out he was going to Iraq for a year from his superior.I called my attorney, he drew up papers.Ex lied to judge, said he had no orders to go to Iraq, judge called ex's superior, & he verified it. Judge gave me custody, temp. Not because he was being deployed, but because he had not followed prior orders.We went to court when ex returned after 1yr, he decided our son could stay w/ me. 1yr later go back, he wants him now, and jusge gives son back to him, even though he's over 8,000 behind in Child support. What's up w/ that? more details below

By this i mean seeing how far he can push the envelope before i snap. I know going into the teenage years is tough what with raging hormones and all but i was wondering.
How far(Within reason of course) should i let my son assert himself before putting my foot down?
I dont want to hamper or hinder his emotional growth but on the other hand he is NOT going to walk on me either. What do you think?
