Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid does not seem to have the ability to lead their branches of Government. A true leader works with all opinions to come up with solutions to problems that are not based on political party but what is best for our country. They said they would when they went into office. The country is still waiting.

I'm about to give up hope. Bring back the days of Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, James Monroe, etc. At least those guys had some balls and did right by our country. They had a passion that today's politicians can't possibly grasp.

In comparison to Who? Tom Delay, Bill Frist, Dennis Hastert? These people used shut out all opinions in Committees. They would inform you only after the vote. It will take a little time to clean up this crap. Hopefuly 2008 will give the Dems a mandate to clean it up once and for all. A good beginning would be public campaign finance.

'We the people" have allowed 535 cowardly, incompetent, reprehensible, arrogant, corrupt politicians to take over Congress and hold us hostage. Until we can return public servants to that body, who truly have "the people's" interests at heart, nothing will change. It's time to strip the monopolistic "Republicrats' from office and install true patriots and statesmen who are not there to line their own pockets or those of their campaign contributors. The U.S. Congress is, by far, the most vile organization of its kind of the face of God's good Earth. -RKO- 05/22/07

tough when your working with petulant children who say they will negotiate but have no capacity too. Look at the Bush negotiation on the spending bill...I will not sign anything with timeline, additional spending or any goals whatsoever in iraq, other then that, we'll finetune the details...hahaha, that's negotiating and not just "playing politics"?
