Ok, Megan's Law is a good Idea, in therory. But what about the people it hurts. Good Families are distroyed. Men who havn't done anything go to jail. Someones biggest crime is not locking the door and they go to jail because of one sentance: "Endangering the welfare of a child by engaging in sexual conduct, which would impair or debauch the morals of the child". ... That is, when your son or daughter walk in on you and your partner having sex. Those parents go to jail, people!!
Now, who agrees that Megan's Law is a good Idea, it just needs to be re-written?

I'm going on holiday [vacation] with my boyfriend next year. We have about 10 months to save up, where should we go? We will both be 19 years old at the time. We live in the UK.

We were thinking of going to Las Vegas to see if we can look around the set of CSI or something because we're big fans of the series but we won't be old enough to go in any casino's so we don't know if it'll be worth it.

Please let me know if you have any better ideas!

why now? i was taught about climate change(green house effect...) as a child at school but the problem is only now being addressed. i don't know about you, but i feel it is too little to late. At a time when china is about to prosper, where our and america's have done is abit selfish.
I doubt the minor changes that are happening will have any effect on our climate. If we are to slow this global warming, we need drastic measures, that are unrealistic but will work. small things like switching off appliances- i doubt would help much anyway especially with the amount of cars on the road today, which is always increasing. You want to help? the only way is to either stop petrol or ban cars from the road, which is an impossible idea, so climate change is and will continue- i look forward to more sunny days.

Imagine that over the course of one year 1 trillion dollars (~10% national income) were given to Christianity in the United States and was exclusively earmarked to be spent on what churches do. Additionally all 275 million people in the US would spent 6 hours a week participating in a Christian church.

Notes:
a) Remember that ~75% of the US prison population is Christian so the impact on crime would probably be minimal.

b) After examining the budget of three local churches less that 1% of the money could go to helping the poor since in all three cases significantly less than 1% of their budget went to helping the needy. Monies would typically be spent on building churches, Biblical education, hiring church staff etc.

Now imagine the same 1 trillion dollars were spent annually on scientific research and education and that an extra 85.8 billion people hours were used annually for scientific education and research.

Question Details: Last night the History Channel presented a documentary, on scientists weighing in on Global Climate Change, the 2012 predictions as well as current research with the energy that seems to be producing stronger energy currents in the seas of Puerto Rico and the Bermuda Triangle called the *Black Hole*.
Scientists are claiming this situation could be one reason we are starting to experience such drastic weather patterns which possibly might bring upon a global galatic polar shift between 2010 and 2012, they all agree that they have no idea what kind of global disaster this will bring upon human life, although it will be cataclysmic for some parts of the world.

If this is the case do you think this will bring about the Anti-Christ to power, since the world will be in such devastation? Also Kyoto treaty ends in 2012 as its energy-hungry economy is developing fast, they said.

I bought a home a few months ago and I've recently discovered a bunch of old concrete footers for an old fence and/or clothes line pole (s). There are about 8 of them and I did notice one had a hole the shape of a 4X4 - that is why I think it is from a fence. The previous owner just piled them up and let ivy grow over them to hide it. How can I get rid of this stuff without digging a big hole in the backyard or illegally dumping it in a shopping center dumpster or in the woods? Who can I call about removing it?

I just came from having an ultrasound and the tech began to kind of sit on one spot around my uterus. When she was done she said that there is a build up of fluid around my right ovary and uterus. And of course, she said that she was not a doctor so she could not diagnose (sp?) me. None the less she has left me FREAKING out! If there is anyone that may know why she would say this please help ease my nerves.
