Do you bother to see sequels if you didn't care for the original?

No, i usually dont bother to see the sequels if i didnt like the originals, unless they look really good and possibly much better than their originals....but i totally loved Pirates of the Caribbean 1 and 2 so lol im definitely hoping to see part 3. :D

Unless it got very good reviews from both critics and my friends, I don't bother watching sequels if I didn't like the original. However, since I did enjoy the first 2 Pirates, I most definitely want to see the Pirates 3!

I won't go see any sequel if I didn't like the original, why bother. However, I love the Pirates of the Caribbean movies! I have loved anything to do with pirates my whole life. I find it so raw and exciting. Plus I have to admit that I am a huge Johnny Depp fan and when he is playing Capt. Jack Sparrow it is a sublime fantasy!

I'm not a huge sequel person anyway. I've been disappointed with sequels too many times. If I was unimpressed with an original movie, I definitely would not want to go see a sequel of it!
I'm not sure about PC3, because I REALLY liked the first one! I thought it was great and I bought a copy. I didn't like the 2nd one though. In fact, I fell asleep before the movie had even been on for one hour. I just wasn't interested.
The third one, though, looks to me like it may be more interesting than the second one, so I'm somewhat interested. I guess I might bother to see it. I'll read reviews first.
