Best is truly a matter of personal opinion.
Paint departments would be a good paint store site.
Furniture, oh my gosh there are so many.
Just start searching. Just use those key words to find what you need.

I just recently found a store (online) called Horchow. It's a division of Neiman Marcus and I fell in love with EVERYTHING they have for sale. :) I know it's not exactly what you are looking for (like function and creativity, interactive site, etc), but it's a start with very pretty stuff.
