I sometimes watch the program "a baby story" on TLC, i have never seen someone refuse an epidural. I live in the eastern Caribbean and most hospitals here don't have such luxury. I gave birth to my son with no pain reliever, i'm curious to know if there are any American women out there who refused it? It seems to me that Americans have a very low tolerance for pain (i may be wrong)

How do you dispose of ancient 5.25" floppy disks? Recyclers won't take them. I prefer not to dump them into land fills. My paper shredder won't each them up. Some have software or proprietary information on them from decades ago, and I don't have a bulk eraser or a drive that will format them. Should I separate the floppy casing from the actual disk and try to shred the disk?

Well, I basically need basic info on climatology and it's relation to other sciences like Geography, oceanography, etc.

What I'm particularly looking for is examples of how does geography influence things like vegetation, temperature, pressure, air quality, precipitations, etc.

I want to be able to define and/or create a credible environment(For writing purposes) and wanted to know some of the basics. I'll pretty much appreciate any of your own knowledge that you can shed in here and if you've got links or resources (Books are good too, as long as they're very general. I don't think I need the specifics for what I have in mind) I can look at, those are appreciated too.

And... Before anyone asks; yes, I did learn all this in middle school, but the mind is a fragile thing.

Their traditional bases are frustrated with them, and most people see little if any similarities between their far-right idealism and everyday life. Will the Republicans move closer to the center in 2008 or drift further and further into right feild?

And what effect will Bush's track record of stubborness and defiance have on the next Republican presidential nominee?

About a week ago, my husband and I started potty training our three year old son (He turned 3 on March 2.). We bought regular toddler briefs (not padded) and rubber pants (to catch the urine/poop). I soon found out that rubber pants are horrible--definitely more hassle than they're worth because when you take them off, the urine comes pouring out, lol. Anyway, he loves wearing underwear, but REFUSES to pee in the potty. He'll wait until he's peed (or has started to pee) in his underwear THEN tell me he needs clean undies. We put him on his potty seat every 30 minutes (regardless of whether or not he's peed recently) and make him sit for about 5 minutes. Normally he starts screaming the minute we suggest the potty. We've tried giving him candy as a reward, and that's not working. He'll sit on the potty for 10 minutes, not pee, then STILL expect candy. When he doesn't get it, that leads to a tantrum. Any advice? I thought of a sticker chart, but he has no interest in stickers.

why do we use jesus' birth as a frame of reference? shouldn't we use adam's birth/creation day as the first day if he did indeed exist, or better yet, why not just start with the first day of creation?

Are really and example of the True *Faith* if so name one:

Is Osama - A true representation of Islam?

Hitler, Jefferey Dahmer might of been exposed to Christianity as children but grew up not practicing the faith.

Stalin and Charles Manson-Were Atheists- Born Killers

Last Question- If you don't believe in GOd or Religion what prevents you from being fooled by the Anti-Christ when he comes to power?

Since you don't believe this will happen don't you think you might be playing into Satan's hand just where he wants you?

White House: 3.5 percent pay hike unnecessary

Posted : Wednesday May 16, 2007 17:34:13 EDT

Troops don’t need bigger pay raises, White House budget officials said Wednesday in a statement of administration policy laying out objections to the House version of the 2008 defense authorization bill.

The Bush administration had asked for a 3 percent military raise for Jan. 1, 2008, enough to match last year’s average pay increase in the private sector. The House Armed Services Committee recommends a 3.5 percent pay increase for 2008, and increases in 2009 through 2012 that also are 0.5 percentage point greater than private-sector pay raises.

The slightly bigger military raises are intended to reduce the gap between military and civilian pay that stands at about 3.9 percent today. Under the bill, HR 1585, the pay gap would be reduced to 1.4 percent after the Jan. 1, 2012, pay increase.

I work in a hospital and we have an option to buy lunch in the cafeteria and payroll deduct it, or carry lunch to work. I usually get the daily special at work and it cost $3.50. This includes a 12 ounce beverage and usually something like a sandwich and fries. If I carry lunch to work, sometimes it gets stolen or sometimes I am in a rush and carry in something like some yogurt and a bananna or some pudding. and a frozen Smart One. When I work 12 hours, I get really hungry at the end of the day, and end up going down for a snack in the cafeteria anyways- usually something like a serving of mashed potato's or some kind of a fruit cup or ice cream. It seems like if I eat a bough lunch from work, I am not as hungry and less likely to snack later on in the evening.
What do you think the best deal for me is?
