ok my b/f has said that he cant see himself living after 20, that since he was a little kid he always thought he would die at 20 or not even make it to his 20th b-day. i told him we can see what happens 10 years from now or know whats going to happen a week from now but we still hope our life will be some way in the next year. he just kept saying he cant picture anything past 20. i think its becuase he is stuck in a hard place with a job and goals and everything but he still argues that he dosent think he is ment to live long...could he really have a sense of this? or are some people like this, they cant picture what they "want" there life to be like. this worries me because i need him and cant loose him...what are your thoughts

My husband has always been mentally abusive towards me. We have tried counseling and it didn't work. He is still this overbearing, macho, selfish person. I feel I am an attractive woman, so I have been told through the years, I have a degree and a great job. I seem to have it together yet nothing is good enough for him. He still constantly degrades me and try's to put me down in what ever I say or do. We argue at least 4 or 5 days out of the week. We have a 3 year old daughter together that is like his shadow and is closer to him then me. I finally found the courage to asked him for a divorce and to please work with me for our daughters sake. I said I would give him 50/50 and not ask for anything else. I explained to him how I wanted both of us to be happy. He is now avoiding my phone calls and will not return his daughter's phone calls, which is not like him. I feel that he is punishing our daughter to get to me. I can't understand why if he hates me so much, degrades me everyday, tells me I'm a terrible mother and thinks he could get better why doesn't he cooperate with the divorce, so we can both be happy apart?

Romans 3:10 says "No one is good, not one, no one seeks after God"

And Ephesians 2:8 explains that Jesus only saves us by His grace, not our works, or good deeds so that nobody should boast.
So anyone can live their lives, doing good deeds, and being nice people, but without Jesus Christ, they will gain nothing in the end.
For God has a free gift of salvation only through HIM. So what must you do to receive this great salvation?

I am having a biospy of a soft tissue mass (on the back of knee) next week. How long does it take before they will know if it cancerous? It is a CT guided biopsy. If anyone could explain how the biopsy is done that would be great too! I would like to go in there a little prepared. Thanks!!

Im into a serious relatioship with this guy whose financial condition is not good. He belongs to a lower class whereas i belong to middle class family. I knw that my family wont ever agree for our marriage. I understand their sentiments that they dont wont me to get settled with a guy who is financially secured for my benefit only. But i want to marry the one.i love n i knw i will and i can adjust with him. But my family wont ever agree to it. And i knw that i wont hv any other choice but to run away with him. But in that case i wud hurt my family a lot , they wud have bear the consequences in the society. Also i m afraid of the fact that the one i love might have to go to jail if we run away. He is ready to take any kind of risk for me. But i do not want 2 do anything which will aderversely effect my love.I don’t want him to get hurt in any way by police,etc. Marrying him wud mean that he wud have to face my family an police,etc which i don’t want. And if i dont marry him i’ll die.

Today a potential spanner has been thrown in the works with regard to people claiming back their bank penalty charges.

Lloyds TSB today became the first bank to win a court case after being sued by a customer for imposing allegedly unfair overdraft penalty charges. District Judge Cooke, at Birmingham County Court, dismissed a claim for £2,545 from Kevin Berwick, who argued that Lloyds TSB’s charges for having an unauthorised overdraft were illegal contractual penalties.

He said that the Lloyds TSB’s charges were in fact legitimate fees for servicing an account that was overdrawn, and as such were legal.

As this judgment has come from a district judge, it is not binding on any other court, in the way that a High Court judgment might be, which gives some comfort to those of us that are pursuing claims against our banks for penalty charges. However, as the first judgment of any kind in this sort of case, it is a bit of a blow.
