Now, with tax cuts, where would we find money to keep up caring for the wounded soldiers over the years and years? And where would we find the money to feed all the public school students with the healthier and more expensive nutritious school meals that parents demand? Guess more borrowing from foreign nations despite the accumulative interest rates on the heavy debt remaining unpaid?

have been debating myself on how & where to start?
I am 49 years old and I need to start where I can get a job
quickly. I check Linux/Unix well they all require 4 to 6 years of experience in order to consider you. Meaning if I learn linux nobody will hire me. I look at SQL Server DBa same thing , even if I get a certifications my chances at 49 without any experience are slim to get into that field. I was thinking about ASP.NET and the Web Development in general. What do you guys will recommend me to at least get my feet into the field?? After that I will learn more but I need to get in. Thanks for your recommendations guys.

As far as I know, the roof doesn't have any major repairs that need to be done, like leaks or holes. But it is obvious that repairs must have been completed during the 2004 hurricane season because the shingles covering that section are lighter in color than the rest.

The question is what are the signs that the roof needs to be redone and what are the differences between reroofing and reshingling?

I am a born again Christian. I'm living my life now to please GOD. My sister asked me for advice, she's still living in sin. She has 3 children (twins, and a little girl) She's now pregnant again. She said she want to have an abortion. Considering her situation, that will be best. Her situation is she already have 3 kids a dead end job, and have no transportation at all. But with my new beliefs, I can't tell her to have an abortion. It's sin either way, she's pregnant by a guy that's not her husband, so she's fornicating, (that's a sin) then she wants an abortion, (that's a sin) So, I don't know what kind of advice to give her. A simple question with no simple answer.

At starting pay, women and men are paid identical salaries for the same work. But, as time goes on, a gap appears and by retirement, the male has been promoted more and is paid more.

This is a complex issue. Some have suggested that careers are generally more central to a male's life and thus works harder at it. Others have suggested that women's careers are often compromised by uniquely feminine circumstances such as childbirth. Still others stipulate that it has more to do with a woman's sense of self worth; that women don't ask for raises as often because they are less likely to feel themselves adequate for such a reward.

To say that "Because men are all sexist pigs!" is not an answer. After all, in order for the comparison between men and women in the workplace to be made.....there must be men and women in the workplace. That means women employers too.

Likewise, to say, "Because women do inferior work!" is also untrue.

I mean really! Now he probably will get a federal indictment for the dog fighting controversy. Many witnesses are saying that he is the ringleader.
Dog fighting is sickening and if the allegations are true I hope he goes to prison.
Vick still hasn't learned to throw the ball and he is a bad
representative for the NFL.

WHY do you that consider yourself a religious and say to love everyone because you're trying to follow Jesus' example and say that racism and discrimination is ignorant keep saying nasty things about the LDS church and its members? don't you think that this is discrimination? I have learned in my church that making wars with other religions not right because anyways we are all brothers and sisters so we don't do that, I have never heard a Mormon say to a person from other religion things like what people from other religions say to Mormons. People keep talking about racism in the church, poligamy, Josep Smith was a false prophet, etc... why don't they get better informed and stop criticizing so hard other people's beliefs and then they want their beliefs to be respected. I have read terrible things about my church and what some people say about it, but when that happens, as i know it is not true, my faith grows more because I know that I'm in the right place and my beliefs are right.
