Whenever a question is asked that shows the hypocrisy and inconsistency within the christian religion,there seems to be a standard list of excuses.
My favourite is
"You have taken that out of context"

What are their beliefs? Is it related to Christianity or Hinduism or anything else. Sorry to be ignorant but I was never encouraged as a child to have a religion so I don't know anything.

I have been married to my husband for almost 18 yrs, but for the last several, he has been getting consistently more abusive. He smacks, pushes, kicks, pulls me by my hair, spits in my face, and, most tormenting, the namecalling and mental abuse. He has alienated everyone we knew. He's told our family and friends that I am lazy and useless, and that I cheated on him.(This isn't true..we used to be swingers, & he prefered watching...long story!)
We live in the Midwest., and all my family is on the East coast.The only real witnesses I have to the abuse are my two boys, and they've left home, not on speaking terms with thier dad.
Various battles and bruises contributed to the loss of my job. Now, I am a slave/prisioner in my own home. He tells me if, when, where, and how long I can be gone, on the rare times he allows me to leave. My car keys and phones are kept locked and I must ask permission to use. He keeps me on a tiny $$. I am trapped, and worse, broken. How can i get out alive?

For the past 3 years I have had severe leg pain. It was gotten worse over the 3 years. Last november I started having swelling. Sometimes my ankles will be the size of my knees. I am currently on up to 180mg of morphine daily so that I can function and work. I am also on Lyrica and cymbalta for nueropathy. I have seen a neurologist, a vascular specialist, and had tethered cord realease surgery done. I had Spina bifida when I was born and had tethered cord syndrom. I have run out of ideas of where to go next. I am tired of being on the meds. I gained 65 lbs in less than 3 months, which can't help with the pain. I also had a rheumatoid factor that came back extremely high, but since the other blood work has all come back normal the rheumatologist doesn't want to do anything. I need Ideas or suggestions. I'm only 24. Thank god my husband is very understanding and helpful, he has had to carry me into bed sometimes because I can't walk. I need some ideas. Please!!

i am an 18 yr old bi-sexual male and my best friend is 16. he is so good looking and likes to hang around with me. i know that he is straight but i want him soooo bad. everytime i see him i just want to kiss him. if i tell him i love him i am afraid that he will stop hanging around with me. This Q mainly goes out to EMTs and Medics...if you have a patient and you discover that this patient is wearing an insulin pump, would you disconnect it or leave it in place?

I'm asking for two reasons. As an EMT myself, I would leave it alone. At a type 1 diabetic and a pump user, I would want you to leave it alone.

Also, are there any other EMTs, Medics or firefighters out there who use one on the job? Do you find it easier than using syringes or pens? I'd like to know some opinions. Thanks.

For me, the three funniest things in life are:
-Seeing people fall/trip
-Scaring people/seeing people get scared
-Really spacey girls...the kind where you see them and go, "pretty house, but no one's home..."

I really do not believe he's refering to the sand man.........

what else could he be talking about.

do you think he's talking about the 90 pound weakling advertisment found in alot of old "80's" spidey comics?
you know, the one where the muscle dude kicks sand in weaklings face then steals his girl.
Only to have weakling come back after buying the book presented in the ad, working out and then putting muscles in his place.

I seriously dated a girl for 3 years and stupidly made promises to be married, then renegged. This kills me, just I thought she would wait, it was how i was feeling at the time! Prob just being a guy, scared,etc. I thought things were fine and out of the blue last Sept. she said she needed time alone. Well, she immediately reconnected with an old bf and they were married 4 months later.She has been married for 3 months and we spoke for the 1st time since the wedding last week (she called me) and she told me she only got married bcs she wanted to be a wife, and that she would only get divorced if he GAVE HER a reason, but that she wouldnt do it bcs. she would feel too guilty. Didnt say anything about LOVE. But, she said she FEELS loved and SAYS she is happy (like 1000 times she told me). What do you think about this? She keeps on calling me, but ends up yelling at me and is still very upset. Will it last? Is she honestly happy?I am so devastated, taking depression meds now.
