No such book exists, the room prices in LV are not static. They rise and fall somewhat like the stock market, only the room rates go up and down a LOT more than the stock market!!

For Attractions
http://www.lasvegasadvisor.com/activities.cfm
http://www.vegas.com/attractions

to check hotel web sites for room rates
http://www.lasvegasadvisor.com "VEGAS INFO" >Hotels & Casinos

You can also use the "travelaxe" search engine on the Las Vegas Advisor's main page, it compares most of the popular travel sites rates

I also check these sites for rates

http://www.i4vegas.com

Hotel prices fluctuate weekly, daily or sometimes hourly, so the chances of you getting a book with rates in them will be low to none. I've never heard of one.

Your best bet is going to be to decide where you want to be (mid-strip, south strip, downtown, off strip), what level of service you want and then to decide how much you want to spend.

From there you go to websites like http://cheapovegas.com/index.php to look at maps, read reviews and just get a feel for all that Vegas has to offer.

Once you have narrowed it down a bit, then you go in search of coupon codes and such from either Cheapo's Bargin Bin or to one of the many websites out there that list all of the different specials and deals. One of my favorites is http://www.casinotripreports.com/vegas/ because the layout is so easy to look at and the hotels are sorted by date.

Another slightly more tedious option is to go on each hotel's website that you might want to stay at, join their email list and they will email you specials and discounts periodically.

For attractions, prices of buffets and general state of Las Vegas, check out http://www.lasvegasadvisor.com/.
