One sees this all the time a question by an atheist is answered with Biblical quotes. Or when someone asks a question about some mystical belief say magic than we also see a lot of Biblical quotes to show how wrong it is. I don't understand this if a person does not believe in the Bible or accept it as authoritative what is the use of using passages from the Bible.

"I don't believe in the Bible."

"Oh but says right here in the Bible that you should believe it!?"

A question was asked about "God Addiction Counseling" yesterday, and a christian(~~LynA~~) replies:

"Get a life. What our children CHOOSE to believe is their business, just like its your business what you believe"

Hmmm... does anyone else see many things wrong with that statement?
So let me guess, this Christian mother taught her kids about every religion then let her child choose all on it's own?
I doubt it. Infact I'd bet all my money that the kid had Christianity rammed down it's throat and taught that it would go to hell if it believed anything else.
Doesn't really seem like a fair "choice" does it?

As you probably know by know, Tony Blair has announced he is resigning as leader of the Labour Party on June 27th.

Sky News interviewed an MP before and asked her why she thought he was going. She either said that she thought he had run out of road or run out of rope. I didn't quite here which.

If it was you being interviewed, which one would you have said, and why?

I have right now 15 large pieces of sandstone that are 3-4 feet wide and 4-5 inches thick. I'd like to sell them but I have no idea what they are worth. I assume they are sold by the ton? If so, how much per ton? I've had several landscape companies interested in buying them but I have no idea what to charge.
