There are Asda stores in Charlton (Bugsbys Way, Greenwich Peninsula), the Isle of Dogs, London E14, the Old Kent Road and no doubt others.

Yes, the ASDA supermarket chain; pretty good quality, diverse selection and really good value for money. These can be found all across London, but the ones I know are in
Watford
Colindale
Southgate
Croydon
Type Asda into a search engine and look on its store locator. You will soon be able to find branches. Good luck

william...as everyone else is saying, ASDA is Wal-Mart
I prefer sainsburys the peeps at the liverpool road (islington)branch give excellent customer service
Haven't been to a tesco's since they closed down the branch in chapel market (back in the 70s/80's)
I wouldn't exactly call 'woolworths' a supermarket (i.e. in the same context that sainsburys or tesco's is)
