I already do pay attention to it. I pay a great deal of attention to it. I pay as much attention to it as I possibly can right now. I just love football (soccer). It's the best.

I'm already a soccer fan (EPL, La Liga, Serie A). But I will pay attention to MLS now that Beckham is joining. I might even take a road trip to California if I can buy tickets to an LA Galaxy home game or a Chivas-LA Galaxy game.

So people answering this questions are just bagging on the Beckhams without really knowing what they are all about. Yeah Beckham is a good footballer but he is a little past his best but still good. Don't bag on his wife Victoria as she is so scrutinize in the paparazzi world. They just want to live life like we live life. Will it increase the profile of soccer in america maybe just a little but if you are not into soccer originally he's not going to turn you into a fan....unless you just want some eye candy. Let them be brand Beckham without the put downs.

I'm in the states, and no one cares but the Scientology's..I do like Beckham, he's brilliant footballer, but other than the "SOC KER MAMMY'S" their more concerned on "how large their "bling , bling"is, their home, or if they can get a job...it's bad for jobs here also everywhere...

He is too effeminate. Soccer is a game for prepubescent girls.
His wife is a talentless, has-been, money hungry butch who looks like a scarecrow with a horses face.
Plus we have all seen his naked pictures on-line... and he has NOTHING to brag about in that department.
