I have to go to jury selection next week for a case that is expected to last 7 weeks. If I go dressed like a thug, (i.e. backwards hat, baggy clothes, etc,) will that make me less likely to get selected?

if 2 guys get into a fistfight it's no big deal.If a guy EVER hits a girl, even in self defense, they get tons of crap from people.I know violence is the last option to consider when solving a problem, but if women are so strong why can't they take a punch? I asked several of my teachers this and they said I had a valid point. My school counselor even said it's a gender bias against men.

There is big money is to be made and the pressure to mine uranium will become overwhelming in the western US in order to feed the world-wide “nuclear renaissance.” Mining will irreversibly poison our water table.

Is the intentional contamination of the public's water supply through uranium mining the act of eco-terrorism predicted by Homeland Security?

Global warming is one thing. Purposely polluting our precious and scarce water supply for money is another.

I posted a question the other day about what shorts length is appropriate for a 40 year old. I realize that I asked the question and I did get a lot of good feedback. However, i did find it off color that someone commented that no one wants to see the back top part of a 40 year old woman's thighs. I asked the question to find out what other people are wearing and what others thought. I will have the author of that answer know that I have been hit on by guys in their twentys. One of them was the extremely good looking son of an old classmate of mine. Nothing wrong with my thighs and they are not yucky to look at. I just wanted to know if it was appropriate for them to show! Thanks.

Bush says now that he will accept benchmarks as long as it does not include any withdrawal of troops based on the benchmarks. So where is their incentive??? What is the point? It's stay the course light.

I got a urine sample at 7.45 in the morning and got it tested around 10 the same morning for pregnancy. The sample was stored in quite a clean bottle. The test came out negative. I want to know if that can be relied upon cuz I’ve heard hormones disintegrate if not stored under a particular pH and temperature. So how will I know for sure if the test was truly negative or if the hormones disintegrated by then?
Plz don’t say take another pregnancy test. I want to know the answer to this question.
Thanx for answering!

Been with this guy for 1 year. Everything ok for 9 mths then we start arguing a lot. He has moved out 3 times in the last 3 months. Always moves out when I'm at work. Doesn't call me for 3 days to a week then either calls or shows up unexpectedly and tells me he loves me and moves back in. Then we argue and it happens again. He is driving me crazy. What would be the best thing to do for myself?

Was it Scrapped ??? or is it still around in 1 of the Reserve fleets?????.
Dithmarschen, a combination oiler and supply vessel, was built by F. Schichau, Danzig, in 1938, for the German Navy. Taken over by British authorities at Bremerhaven when World War II ended, Dithmarschen was allocated to the United States Navy 15 January 1946 by the Inter-Allied Reparations Commission. She was placed in service 2 May 1946 as Dithmarschen (IX-301), with Captain A. W. Maddox, USNR, in charge. Departing Bremerhaven 8 May she arrived at Philadelphia Naval Shipyard 19 May for conversion to a naval vessel. The need for a one-stop oiler-replenishment type ship had been illustrated by the war in the Pacific, and Dithmarschen was used for experimental work in this field since she had been developed specifically for this type of duty. On 1 October her name was changed to Conecuh and she was redesignated AO-110, but lack of funds delayed her conversion and she was placed out of service 24 October.

Her classification was changed to AOR-110 on 4 September 1952 and she was converted to a replenishment fleet tanker. Conecuh was commissioned 16 February 1953, Commander M. B. Freeman in command. Following her shakedown in the Virginia Capes, she steamed to Greenock, Scotland to take part in NATO Operation "Mariner" (16 September-20 October). She sailed for a tour of duty with the 6th Fleet in the Mediterranean (5 March-28 May 1954), then underwent an extensive overhaul at Norfolk (30 June 1954-4 January 1955). She remained at Norfolk except for refueling units at sea, operations in the Caribbean, and off the Florida Keys (25 October-7 November 1955), until decommissioned and transferred to the Maritime Commission for retention in the Maritime Reserve Fleet 3 April 1956. She was stricken from the Navy List on 1 June 1960.

One of my superiors at work nonchalantly handed me a pamphlet on our Employee Assistant Progam, which is free mental health and nutrition counseling. It seems kind of weird. Do you think this means they know something is up or it's routine to offer it?
