I got a urine sample at 7.45 in the morning and got it tested around 10 the same morning for pregnancy. The sample was stored in quite a clean bottle. The test came out negative. I want to know if that can be relied upon cuz I’ve heard hormones disintegrate if not stored under a particular pH and temperature. So how will I know for sure if the test was truly negative or if the hormones disintegrated by then?
Plz don’t say take another pregnancy test. I want to know the answer to this question.
Thanx for answering!

That's a pretty stable hormone. I'd think you would be fine, but not positive. Sorry to say it, but if you're stressed, the only solution is to buy an at-home test, pee on a stick type, or go to your doctor's. If you're not doing an 'early' test, then no real need to use your first pee of the day.

Science works by comparing many data points. Take another test.

the first morning specimen (which i'm assuming is what you obtained) is the best, b/c it's more concentrated. the hcg will not have broken down in your sample in this case. the results should be valid. if in doubt, repeat in 2 weeks.
