One of my superiors at work nonchalantly handed me a pamphlet on our Employee Assistant Progam, which is free mental health and nutrition counseling. It seems kind of weird. Do you think this means they know something is up or it's routine to offer it?

Ask fellow employees if they were given similar pamphlets. If you were the only one, perhaps you should ask your boss if he perceives a problem that you may be having, and if so, avail yourself of the of the service.

Most employers who offer such services will hand out brochures to keep their employees informed. I wouldn't take offense to it unless you feel that maybe your supervisor picked up on something that maybe you're not aware of. If this is the case, take the brochure and gesture as a kind way of knowing someone cares.

It is normally routine to offer. But are you overweight? or do you show signs of mental unstableness.
