If men and women are supposed to be equal,how come I can't punch girls?

if 2 guys get into a fistfight it's no big deal.If a guy EVER hits a girl, even in self defense,they get tons of crap from people.I know violence is the last option to consider when solving a problem,but if women are so strong why can't they take a punch? I asked several of my teachers this and they said I had a valid point. My school counselor even said it's a gender bias against men.

Honestly, if a woman is going to start something with a man, she had better be ready to take the consequences. In other words, if she is going to bully him around, smack him for no good reason, or whatever, she had better be prepared to take her own medicine.

However, it would probably be best to just try to get away from those kinds of women. But...if you feel that a point needs to be made, then by all means, draw back and deliver a good backhand.

Sorry, but if women are going to take pride in smacking the crap out of men who mistreat them (and therefore deserve it), then there's nothing wrong with it working the other way.

The way I look at it is like this. You dont ever pick a fight and you should be able to defend yourself regardless of who is attacking. However defending youself can be interpreted in different ways. I do agree though that some B!TC#3$ do fight like men and are the ones picking the fight so technically they're not ladies. A real lady wouldnt be more civilized and wouldnt act like a man and sometimes depending on the situation, you cant just stop someone from attacking, you have to hit back. So yes I can see your point.

Solution: People quit looking for fights and for all you aggresive girls: EITHER LEARN TO TAKE A PUNCH, ADMIT YOU'RE A MAN, OR ACT LIKE A LADY BUT DONT HIT LIKE A MAN AND ACT LIKE A TODDLER WHEN YOUR B!TC# @$$ GETS HIT!!!

because in the real world equality is a pile of crap that no one actually uses. You open a door you are either being nice or get insulted, women get off in crimes because women are more "innocent". the whole hitting thing is correct it is a bias, if you are the thin weak guy any would hit the huge strong build like a brick shithouse woman you will get in a lot more trouble just because she a woman(even barely).

If you were defending yourself, I don't see why you can't punch a girl. If you were defending yourself from an attacking rabid zombie kitten, I would think that you have a good reason to punch, regardless of the fact that it is just a kitten.
But if you know that said attacker can't possibly hurt you, then it is probably a good idea to just ignore them till they calm down and then rationally try to sort out what happened like civilized folk.
Besides, who cares if people give you crap when you are being attacked? What kindof person would give you crap about that? Someone who wants you to get hurt?

Because you shouldn't fight, period. Physical violence should be a last resort, and only in self-defense. You should focus on restraining or neutralizing your opponent, not on who lands or takes the best punch. If someone starts a fight with you, you have the option to just walk away. Also, you shouldn't fight with people smaller than you - if you're fighting a guy half your size, then that's just as wrong as fighting a girl who is half your size.

A REAL man in this situation would step in and break up with fight between the guy and the girl, and keep anyone from getting hurt.

Please learn this lesson early .
When a woman provokes
a man to hit her she has gained control ( notice that if you turn to go away they will still provoke the game is they must get control ) if you hit them they can complain that all men are S.O.B s.
Believe me the courts also fall into the trap of sympathizing with the battered wife .
Best to insult their Chasity.
But they come back with provocation on your man hood ,
Leave it because one day they will be subject to a man that cant take the provocation ( but don't you be that man ) and that other man will be the one that rapes them.
Just realize the sick but socially accepted game they play and Remember my words for your own good .

Dont really know man, though i do think its wrong to hit a woman just cause ur angry or mad because its mostly fact: men are usually bigger and stronger than women and have higher muscle masses. Kinda one sided there if u ask me. But in self defense, i mean she is coming at u with a knife, i would punch her into next week. Dont recommend it tho

Because men and women are not "equal" in terms of being identical. They are "equal" in terms of worth as humans.

Women, on average, are smaller and physically weaker than men, on average. Overall, if a guy fights a girl she can't do all that much damage, and can be "fended off." Obviously, if she comes at you with a knife or a bat, I don't think anybody would complain if you decked her.

Of course it's a gender bias. But it's a correct one.

Why would you want to punch a bunch of people? Violence doesn't solve anything, man or woman. When men hit women they do it to have power over someone weaker than them.
