I REALLY don't want my husband's last name, but it's obviously my child's last name as well. Will it have a negative effect on my little girl if her mom has a different last name than she?

"Look, I’ll give you £100 if you’ll change the wedding vows. When you get to my part where I’m to promise to ‘love, honor and obey’ and ‘forsaking all others, be faithful to her forever,’ I’d appreciate it if you’d just leave that part out."
He passed the clergyman the cash and walked away satisfied.

The wedding day arrived, the bride and groom are exchanging their vows. When it comes time for the groom’s vows, the vicar looks the young man in the eye and says:
"Will you promise to prostrate yourself before her, obey her every command and wish, serve her breakfast in bed every morning of your life and swear eternally before God and your lovely wife that you will not ever even look at another woman, as long as you both shall live?"

The groom is shocked, gulps, looks around, and says in a tiny voice, "Yes."

The groom leaned toward the vicar and hissed, "I thought we had a deal."

The vicar put the £100 into his hand and whispered back, "She made me a much better offer!"

Well, maybe if he had been a conservative black. Not that Don was conservative, his crime was being white while saying what he said. I'm pretty sure a liberal black wouldn't have had much of a problem. Double standards, anyone? It's kinda like Jeopardy, "I'll take Double Standards for 400"

A lead ball, with an initial temperature of 25.0 deg. C, is released from a height of 115.0 m. It does not bounce when it hits a hard surface. Assume all the energy of the fall goes into heating the lead. Find the temperature (in degrees C) of the ball after it hits. Data: clead = 128 J/kgoC.

everyone is so different and in a bad way. its like nobody has a mind of their own they just do watever the other one does. everybody has the same hairstyles dresses the same way listen to the same songs and stuff. so if you do a different hairstyle then you're crazy if you listen to the a different kind of music they'll think you're embarrassing yourself and even if your outspoken or don't have stagefright(most of them are really scared of crowds but i think it's beacuse everybody else is like that) you're really weird to them. i just don't understand how they can live like that!
