Well, I am married with children, so definitely not. But, I applaud you for standing by your convictions, especially when faced with what others your age are doing. Good for you! Some cave in and do things they are not ready for and probably would not do, but feel pressured to fit in. This does not apply to all, but to a lot. You sound very mature and one day when you meet your future wife, you will see that the waiting was worth it.

I totally agree with you. I plan to stay pure until marriage because I made a promise to God. I think its sick how people can take the chance of ruining their life by getting an STD, or becoming pregnant when they cant handle it, All for a little pleasure. I am proud to say I am still a virgin at 15, although there are many girls at my school who couldnt say that at this age. I know there are at least 10 pregnant girls at my school. I hope you keep up your goal to stay pure! High Five!!!

I think you mean celibate, as in a virgin. And I think you're right. Your virginity is the only thing you have that really *belongs*to*you*; unless you are forcibly raped, YOU are the one who decides where, when and with whom.
I admire you for knowing what you want. Don't let yourself be pressured.
As to your question, I've been married 25 yrs so that would be a no.

I am not, I waited until I was 19 though. You should wait. Sex is a very big deal and can not be treated lightly. There are a lot of feelings involved. It is just too bad high schoolers Can not realize that.

Good idea. I'm not a virgin because I have two beautiful children, but I think that is worth waiting.

I'm not a virgin. I think waiting until marriage is a poor idea. But I do think that waiting until you are with someone you truly care about is a good idea.
