I'm so sorry to hear about your injury! A few months ago, I was in the hospital for 3 months, so I understand your boredom!

What I did:
-organized my photos into photo albums
-wrote letters to people I had lost touch with
-I learned how to do several kinds of needleart (don't discount this, it really is fun and challenging). Here's a link to a reliable website that sells projects for all levels of experience (you can purchase inexpensive kits that include everything you need to do an entire project): http://www.keepsakeneedlearts.com/NAShopping/index.asp
-I tried Soduko, crosswords.
-I got one of these (it's a geometrical design coloring book for grown-ups) and a set of colored pencils. It was so fun!: http://www.amazon.com/Geometrical-Design-Coloring-Colouring-Books/dp/0486201805
-I also read a book on calligraphy and practiced that.

I hope you find some things to alleviate your boredom and heal well and quickly.

Take good care.

- Read a book, you could actually LEARN something

- Watch television, educational programs spawn more and more time

- Answer Qs on Y! answers, and read answers in the categories that match your interests

- Write down your thoughts

- Call friends whom you did not call ages ago

- Delete uncontacted people in your cellular's phonebook

- Send e-mails, register to forums, read online articles

- Get comic magazines

- Invite friends to home, order some food; and watch football

AT LAST,

If you have a very good camera then get out of your house and try to take a very good picture. And if you are very bad at taking picture then it will be an advantage as you won’t be able to take a good picture in a month so you will just continue that everyday :) loll

Wish you a speedy recovery :")

play shuffle board, or bingo. that's what most 80 yr old do when they break a hip.

Ok, I'm sorry, but that's just hard to resist.

Yea, play some games on the computer, keep on answering questions here... go to myspace. Read a book, I know I should read more.

Hope your hip heals well. How the heck did you break a hip??

if you pick up a really great book and just start reading, the time just flys by while you are in another world. i suggest a great scary book anything from Stephen King like " Lisey's Story" or even Dean Koontz "MrMurder". hope you feel better!!

oh and Clive Barker has a pretty intense one, Coldheart Canyon very kinky if you are in to that kinda thing.

You could get a rubber stamp and do Where's George. It's a game where you follow the progress of paper money as it's spent all around the country. http://www.wheresgeorge.com is the website.

Download some stuff off the internet and have fun with them. Playing on the internet games that you can download is good. It can really take you time. If you don't want to use the computer, you can read, call your freinds, stuff like that... watch TV, listen to the radio, all sorts of things.
